Souta allowed everyone to choose their preferred weapons from the armory, including guns, melee weapons, protective gear, first aid supplies, and communications equipment. They then underwent a day of training in the simulation room to prepare themselves for the mission ahead.

Once the training was complete, they set out for the city on motorcycles. Lily, who couldn't drive, sat with Marie, while Mica rode with Souta. As they approached the city, they were met with a bleak and terrifying sight. The buildings and streets were in disrepair, littered with debris and abandoned cars, and there were signs of a hasty evacuation. The city was eerily quiet, with no sounds of normal city life or traffic.

The signs of violence were everywhere, with bullet holes and bloodstains on walls and pavements. "It's like a movie," Souta remarked. "A movie that you would never want to be a part of," Mica added. "But still, this is a sight you would never see if this hadn't happened, right?" Marie said. "If this is what makes the apocalypse beautiful, I still prefer the safer place we had before the apocalypse," Lily chimed in.

Souta realized that since the apocalypse had only recently begun, there should still be plenty of survivors roaming around. Although the government might have shut down, the military would still be active and rescuing people. "You said the battle was in the middle of the city, right?" Souta asked. "Yes," Marie replied. "Okay, good. That means the zombies have run towards the center, so we can loot the outskirts of the city," Souta said.

Marie pointed out that the city had already been looted by other survivors, except for the city center, which was filled with zombies. "That's a problem," Souta admitted. "I guess we have no choice. You three, find some survivors nearby, but don't do anything stupid. One of my androids will join you to keep you safe. I'll message you when I'm done."

As the three set off to find survivors, Souta used his android to jump onto the rooftop of an abandoned building near the city center. "Lucky for us, we have the QDA radar that Twilight created for this," Souta said, looking at the radar. The whole city was filled with red dots, indicating zombies, except for a single dim green dot in the center.

"How is this possible? Is this some kind of bug?" Souta wondered aloud. "Well, whatever. I'm going there anyway, so I might as well check it out." Souta threw a grenade far from the city center where there were no humans, and the explosion attracted the zombies' attention, causing them to run away from the center.

Using my android we jump down from the abandoned building and went to the dim green light, "What's this? I see so it detects human bodies, alive or not" The green dim light was a dead girl's body that was trapped in a car that was flipped upside down.

"What a shame and here I thought it was a survivor"

As I was about to walk away, the body moved. "Hmm?" I turned back and readied my katana, thinking it was a zombie. But when I looked at the body, it was alive. "Huh? Shit, you're still alive!? Hahahaha Good." I ordered my android to carefully lift the body.

The person had a weak pulse and was frail. She looked like she hadn't eaten in days. I carried her gently and searched for a safe place. With my android's help, we fought off any zombies in our way and eventually found refuge in a warehouse. I stationed my android at the entrance and laid the girl down.

When she woke up, I gave her some water. As she struggled to swallow it, I realized I had no medical training. However, I noticed she didn't have any bite marks, which was a good sign. I had to loot the supermarket for supplies, but I didn't want to leave her alone. "What am I supposed to do?" Just then, the girl caught a glimpse of my face and fainted.

I had no choice but to carry her on my back and run to the supermarket with my android protecting us. We encountered many zombies on the way, but we fought through them and made it to the store. I quickly gathered supplies and put them in my Dimensional Item Box. Then, my android carried the girl while I rode on its back. We jumped from building to building and escaped the city center before the zombies caught us.

As we traveled, I contacted the three. "Hello, can you hear me?" "Here here, I can hear you. What's up?" Marie replied. "Where are you three now?" "Just as you ordered, we've been using the radar you gave us. It was really useful! We rescued all the survivors we found." I could sense the location of my other android, so we headed toward their position.

"Marie, you shouldn't be slacking," Lily scolded. "I'm not though. That guy contacted me and said he would be coming here," Marie explained. "That guy?" Mica asked. "We're far away from the city center." Suddenly, something fell from the sky. It was me and my android. "Hi, is this all the survivors you rescued?" I asked. "I'm afraid so," Mica replied. "Don't worry about it." I summoned two trucks for them to ride in.

"Get in, we need to leave," I urged them. "Ehhh, what's the rush?" Marie questioned. "Hmm, I guess it's because there's a horde of zombies chasing after me?" "Huh?" Mica turned around and saw the approaching zombies. "Go go go, hurry up!" I said, pushing them into the trucks. "I'll hold them off for the time being. Mica, take this girl with you. Bye." My two androids and I charged towards the zombie horde, my androids turn their hands into machine guns and began shooting them I also summoned my riflestart shooting. "What a monster," Mica muttered before driving away
