All of it was a mystery. They don't know what is going on, for Nana the Patient Zero to be alive and keep her youth even though she came from World War 2.

Sighed, "There's no point in thinking about this now, We'll just need to ask Twilight about this," Souta said, calming the situation

"Twilight?" Nana asked, "It's the Enlightened Ones, I called them Twilight, " Souta replied. "They still exist?" Nana asked again

"Only part of them, to be prise their brain, They preserve their brain and use 3d technology to answer all our questions"

"I see..." They all get back to the armored vehicle with all these discoveries. It is safe to know that Nana and the Enlightened Ones have something to do with the Apocalypse.

Emily, Yuki, and Stacy learned about this, "So the government have something to do with this disaster?" Yuki asked, "But isn't the government supposed to protect us? Why would they do something like an end of the world disaster?" Emily asked.

"This shouldn't be possible. As Emily said, the government is tasked to protect our country and the whole world, and if the government knows about this, all the countries should have made their move, " Stacy said

"Stacy is right, For the government to do something like this is unthinkable, what would they get from doing this anyway? if using these zombies as soldiers, then why did the government shut down and get destroyed?" Souta asked, the question keep piling, adding question to another question.

"The commander in chief might know something about this. We should not keep asking ourselves with these questions that we don't know the answer to. We should focus on delivering this girl and ask the people on the island, " Albert said, breaking their questions

"Albert is right, We should focus on going to the island and leave these questions aside," Souta said. They all agreed and focused on going towards the island where their destination is.

As they drive the long road ahead them something made them stop, "What's wrong? why did you stop?" Emily came to the driver's seat to check, and so is the other's.

"Looks like we'll be having some problem," Souta said as he continued to look at front, they are confused as what is Souta is talking about so they look ahead there there is a dear standing on the road.

"Hmm? what's up with just a dear?" Stacy asked. "Can you just scare it off?" She added. "No, look carefully," Albert said. "What's... that..?" Emily can't believe what she is seeing Nana keep her silence.

"Don't get too surprised now. It's the apocalypse. Everything can and might happen, so don't be surprised," Souta said, leaving the vehicle and summoning his rifle, walking towards it as he aim the others get their weapon and take a look.

Albert takes the sunroof of the vehicle to take snipe support if something happens, "Be careful." Albert warned them. Nana stayed in the vehicle, and the others went and took a look. As Souta approached the dear, the dear noticed them and stared at them, Souta stopped approaching it.

"That dear was... Infected?" Emily said when she fully saw the dear, "How? That shouldn't be possible, The virus was only effective on humans, so why..." Stacy can't believe what she saw, but so is the others. If the virus really affects the animals now, it will really become a problem.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Aliens came here now," Souta said as he shot the dear, but.. "Oh? It dodges?" Yuki surprisedly said. "Human instincts are only the minimal compared to animals, animals may don't think like us humans but they rely on instinct so if they got infected by a virus that will take out your conscious and only let your instinct out... These animals will sure become a pain to deal with." Souta constantly shoots the dear it dodges several times, but in the end, before it reaches Souta and the others, finally, he shot it.

"Oh, now I feel sorry for the people who are close to zoo or moutains," Yuki said, "Well It was their choice to make their shelter there, so they should defend it" Souta said as he goes to the others.

Everyone went back to the vehicle. Everyone was talking about how the dear got infected, "I still can't believe that animals can now get infected from the virus," Emily said. "So do I, I should send this information to Father," Stacy said. Nana is particularly quiet as she is still processing the information she know.

While the others are talking about the dear who got infected, Souta, on the other hand, is looking at the road, It's kinda suspicious, Many vehicles have been destroyed and have a claw mark on it.

"Master, do you perhaps suspect that this is made by a stronger animal?" Yuki, who is sitting beside Souta on the front? "Yeah -" Before finishing the sentence, a strong force crashed to the vehicle, making the vehicle fall to the road.

"Shit! don't panic, everyone." Souta put the vehicle in his dimensional storage, making them escape from the vehicle. After that, he quickly pulled out their weapons for them to fight. "Got dammit! Eat this, you animal!" Albert angrily shoots the animal constantly.

The animal they are fighting is a white tiger, "Why the hell is a fcking tiger out here on the road!?" Stacy shouted, shooting at the tiger, and so is the others shooting the tiger constantly. The tiger leaned on the ground as they shot him constantly, They then began to run out of ammo and need to change mag. Emily, on the other hand, was protecting Nana on the back.

"Is it dead?" Emily asked, In seconds, the tiger got up and rushed towards Souta, but when it was about to get Souta Yuki, who was beside Souta, tackle the tiger, using a short sword that are on her legs she stab the tiger.

The sword was made from the same material that is made from Souta's Sword that can cut everything, The tiger got stabbed several times, and it quickly panic pushing Yuki away and ran, I summoned my sword and rushed to the tiger as he is in panic state without him noticing I was already beside him before he could react I quickly sliced his body in half.

Stacy and Albert couldn't believe what they saw, "How... Were you able to match the tiger's speed? an average human speed is only 13 km/h, and for the tiger, it should be 49 – 65 km/h, so how were you able to catch it?" Stacy said, confused about what's going on.

"Stacy is right... Hahaha! I know you were not just an ordinary man!" Albert, who still can't believe what he saw just praise Souta and laugh.

Souta re summoned the vehicle. "Let's get inside, I'll explain everything.
