Meeting King Kai

Due to his familiarity to 10x gravity, Kalan walked normally with swift steps without feeling heavy nor exhausted.

"The planet is so small..." Kalan said as he could see King Kai's house.

"Hm.. Noone's home." Kalan exclaimed as he didn't sense anyone inside the house.

Kalan heard a car engine and turned his gaze to the road. He could see King Kai enjoying his car ride.

"Hey King Kai!" Kalan shouted.

King Kai drove to his house and stepped out.

"Hohoho, well well well. We have a guest or do I have a guess?" King Kai said and started laughing.

"Pfff." Kalan knew that King Kai had the lousiest sense of humor and was laughing at King Kai rather than at his joke.

"Hahaha. It's good that you like my joke. Now tell me one." King Kai said in a good mood.

"... I'm a boy..." Kalan thought and said.

"... Hahahaha." King Kai laughed.

"Eh! You really are a boy!" King Kai exclaimed after he reached out his antennas to confirm.

"Not bad, you have great talent." King Kai said.

"Uhuh." Kalan nodded.

"I'll train you into the greatest gag artist!" King Kai said with pride.

"Cough, cough, cough." Kalan was totally not prepared for that.

"No! I want to be the strongest martial artist!" Kalan argued.

"Alright." Kalan said and smirked.

"Ha!" Kalan release his ki and a strong shockwave rushed out in all directions.

"Uwah!" King Kai exclaimed as he was blown away. He rolled and fell on his head with his legs sprawled in the air.

Kalan smiled in amusement seeing King Kai's state and converged his Ki back inside his body.

"It seems you are very strong already. Such an impressive young boy." King Kai said as he wiped his face with a towel.

"I was going to let you train with Bubbles and Gregory, but by the looks if it you might kill them instead." King Kai jokingly said.

"Eeeh? You got a tail? Are you a Saiyan?" King Kai noticed Kalan's tail wrapped around his waist like a belt.

"Huh? Yep." Kalan said and wondered if King Kai would be prejudiced because of his race. But since he treated Goku the same even after learning he was a Saiyan he believed it was fine.

"That's weird since when were the Saiyans that strong? And you don't look evil at all..." King Kai said.

"I am me but I'm special I guess. But not all Saiyans are evil." Kalan argued and thought "My argument is valid since Goku is good."

"I see, you got a gentle aura." King Kai nodded.

"He's so amazing, with endless potentials. How much will he grow once he grows up? He'll definitely master the Kaioken. The Kaioken that I've yearned of... But have never been able to master myself...!" King Kai thought excitedly as he clenched his hands into fists and smiled.

"Are you ready for my training? It's more difficult than you can imagine! You have to be the best!! The greatest fighter in the universe! Physically! Mentally! In every way!" King Kai shouted excitedly.

"Yes I'm ready!" Kalan also got excited and thought "The greatest fighter in the universe! It will no longer be Goku but rather me!"

"Finally I learned it." Kalan said as he threw a small Spirit Bomb at a brick that King Kai that threw into the air.

"Phew." Exhausted, Kalan sat down on his but.

"Hahaha, not bad, not bad. You're my proudest student." King Kai said with pride as he approched Kalan.

King Kai put his hand on Kalan and started healing him.

"There, all better." King Kai said.

"Thank you." Kalan thanked King Kai.

"System did you record that? Can I also learn healing?"

In truth it was just his senses that reached out. Kalan sensed King Enma sitting on his chair and browsing his book like usual. Looking down he could sense the beings of hell. He sensed many human like beings with horns on their head and also souls.

"Amazing!" This time Kalan felt the Origin Energy was well spent. He could really use his newly improved senses when he explore space.

"Hahaha! I know I'm amazing." King Kai answered proudly.

*Hehehe* Kalan felt amused seeing King Kai's proud look and sent his laughter telepathically to King Kai.

"Wha- You learned telepathy already?!?" King Kai was amazed, Kalan had surprised him so many times already.

*Not bad! As expected of my student. Hohoho* King Kai praised.

"King Kai isn't bad, he might have a lousy humor, but he teaches well and never holds back anything. And he also cooks for me everyday. Although he complains but he still does it." Kalan thought as he felt warmth.

"King Kai I have finished my training and it is time for me to leave." Kalan said as he bowed his head to show his respect to King Kai.

"King Kai can you look for Planet Namek and Planet Yadrat's coordinates?" Kalan asked.

"Eh are you going to explore space? Such a young brat and you are already so adventurous. Not bad, I hope you will have a nice trip.
