A/N: While the start of the story will be placed in a crossover world without supernatural elements, this will of course, still have action and world travel. This crossover world will act more as his 'home base', per se, while a lot of his time will be spent traveling other worlds such as Naruto. However, because the main character (and the chat group) are rather OP, this will not be incredibly heavy and will lean more to the light-hearted/slice of life end.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hah... it seems today marks the anniversary of my arrival into this world." A young man sighed. This young man, Saito Jin was once a normal teenager living his life on Earth. However, one day, he was transmigrated to another world, courtesy of Truck-kun. Crossing over to another world, Jin expected an incredible fantasy world, full of supernatural powers, and a cheat given to help him survive in this world.
Instead, he got transmigrated to what seemed to be an anime crossover world. There were two problems with this, however. First of all, after waiting for one year, he still had not received any cheat to help him. Second of all, this world seemed to not contain any supernatural elements. Or rather, there were none that he had found just yet.
Sure, it was incredibly cool for him to know that he would be able to meet some of his favorite anime characters. There existed people and places such as Erina Nakiri, and Totsuki Academy. And groups such as the Generation of Miracles. But in the end, Jin still felt a bit unsatisfied. After all, since gaining a taste of the supernatural with his reincarnation, he hungered for more.
Sighing once again, Jin thought, "Oh well. Beggars can't be choosers, I guess. I can make do with this. After all, who else would be able to say they live in a world with anime characters? And I don't need a cheat to be worth anything. I'll just make full use of this new life all on my own." As he was hyping himself up in his mind, Jin was broken out of his thoughts by a notification on his phone.
Covering his whole screen, a message box read:
[You have been added to the Chat Group of the Multiverse]
[Position: Group Owner]
Reading his home screen, Jin frowned in thought. 'The hell is this? 'Chat Group of the Multiverse'? Could my cheat have finally arrived?" He stopped that train of thought before it went too far. Before he could get his hopes up, he needed to confirm it was, indeed, real.
'As far as I know, there's no application that can do this. To directly bypass straight to the home screen, and cover up the whole phone with a message box? But at the same time, it could be a virus. However, I don't know who would do this, or why anyone would do this.'
Tapping on the message box, he forced himself to remain cautiously optimistic. As soon as he clicked on it, he was taken to a chat group most reminiscent of Discord. In the middle of the screen was what seemed to be the space where messages would arrive, with a chat box to send messages at the bottom. At the sides of the screen, cut off from the chat space, there were various features.
As he felt himself getting a tad bit overloaded from the amount of information presented to him at once, another message box appeared, taking over the middle of his screen.
[Would you like a tutorial on the various features of the application?]
[Yes] [No]
Jin clicked [Yes].
The message box once again popped up, with a variety of information now.
[First of all, the basic introduction. The Chat Group of the Multiverse is an application intended for many people from different worlds to interact with each other. It is also designed to provide any support needed for the group members. As such, there is a variety of applications, with the possibility of more being added in further updates.]
[To start, obviously, is the chat hub. Group members can chat here. Rather self-explanatory.]
[Next, is missions. These missions are completely optional and come with a variety of rewards for completion. These can be issued by the system, or by group members. Some missions also may give a certain currency, "SP".]
[This "SP" is a currency used exclusively for the in-app shop. This shop includes a variety of different abilities, items, skills, and other things taken from various worlds. All group members can buy anything from the shop, provided they have enough SP.]
[The lottery is another use for SP. Here you can use certain amounts of SP on different wheels. These wheels vary based on the quality and the cost. By spending SP on the wheel, you can roll it and get a random item from the shop, or even exclusive items outside of the shop. The more costly the wheel, the higher chance you get something worth more SP.]
[The final application is the exchange, where group members can trade items, SP, or even skills/abilities. All of these trades will be monitored by the system, and the system will help these trades go through.]
[As of now, these are the only applications of the system. More may be added in future updates.]
[Due to your unique status as the group owner, due to your transmigration, you will be given 5 EX Tier Lottery Tickets, as well as a 50% discount on all Shop purchases. More privileges may be uncovered or added in future updates.]
[That is all for the tutorial. Good luck!]
I don't know how much I can work on this, so the updates may be a bit staggered. Anyways, if you want to see more, please give feedback. Comments really help with my motivation.
As always, please leave your suggestions, critiques, or comments down below.
By the way, this chapter is a bit short, since it was split in two, since it would be way too long as a single chapter, and I felt this was a good place to leave off.
