Also Deadlier

Seeing that Yun Tian was still holding on just fine and didn't appear to be running out of energy at all, while its pack was slowly being completely decimated, the wolf felt forced to attack while it still had some helpers left.

It stopped running and charged at Yun Tian. In response Yun Tian smiled and got ready to end this.

He completely ignored the rest of the wolves letting their attacks land on his qi shield and body as he charged at the peak stage wolf with his sword ready. Even as his hand was covered in his own blood from his wounds and in great pain, he still held tight to his sword as the aura he emitted exploded.

He thought, 'This is what it is to be a warrior! This is what it is to be ferocious! And this is what it is to go for the kill!'

He swung his sword with great speed and force meeting the claws of the peak stage wolf. At first, the wolf wasn't too scared, but partway through the swing of Yun Tian's sword it felt the threat of death.

The reason why was quickly shown as Yun Tian's blade, covered in his qi and supported by his great physical strength, cut through the Wolf's claws almost like butter and even continued cutting off a good amount of its front leg.

Yun Tian's attack still held great momentum as it did not stop and kept aiming for the wolf's life, but evidently the wolf's desire to live was quite strong. It struggled and did all it could as it managed to move its other leg in the path of the blade as well. Still, his sword went right through it, cutting its other front leg in half.

Even with that, the blade continued undeterred onward towards the beast's neck going right through decapitating it.

The Wolf's body and decapitated head fell onto the ground behind him. Its eyes filled with fear and the desire to live slowly dimmed, as its body stopped its struggles.

At this the rest of the wolves that were left stopped in shock. Silence filled the battlefield as they watched their leader die. The silence was broken by Bolin and the rest who howled celebrating his victory.

Even then, the wolves still alive only stared at Yun Tian as they trembled and were unsure of what to do.

Yun Tian ignored them at first as he put away the body of the peak stage wolf before anything else.

Then, he turned to look at Bolin and the others who were currently moving towards him with happiness all over their faces.

They came near him and Yun Tian immediately asked Bolin, "What do you think we should do with the rest?"

Hearing Yun Tian's question, Bolin was surprised for a moment and looked at him as if saying, "Why are you asking me?"

Yun Tian understood what he was thinking from his gaze and explained, "Well you are all wolves right? And we already have a lot of resources, plus the wild beast realm corpses are basically useless. So, I was wondering if you had other plans for the wolves or if we should just let them go or kill them?"

Yun Tian had been wondering what Bolin and the others thought about other wolves. The peak stage wolf had to die as it was after them and he could use its core for cultivation. He knew that Bolin agreed with this.

As for the rest that were left, Yun Tian didn't really care about their lives. So, now would be a good time to find out Bolin's thoughts on other wolves. He wondered if he even wanted to form a new pack and take them in. Bolin was certainly strong enough to lead what was left of the pack.

There were only a few demonic beast realm wolves left and around one hundred wild beast realm wolves still standing in the clearing filled with blood and corpses.

Yun Tian may only be curious about some of Bolin's thoughts, but the rest of the wolves staring at him, could somewhat tell their fate was being decided at this moment and became terrified once more. This decision would either cause their deaths or allow them to live. They were much more invested than Yun Tian. They had somewhat calmed down when Yun Tian's side did not continue killing, but now their hearts were on tenterhooks once more.

As for Bolin, he pondered over the matter for a while as he looked at Yun Qing, Yun Jin, Yun Zan, Yun Zhi, and finally Yun Tian. His mind that had been undecided cleared up as he saw the wounds on Yun Tian's body. While the wolves attacking him before couldn't do too much damage to Yun Tian, he was still facing against so many, purely relying on his defensive abilities to hold them off. So, he wasn't able to defend himself completely and he had many minor wounds all over his body.

As Bolin thought about how the wolves around were trying to kill Yun Tian moments before, he made up his mind and barked something which only his fellow wolves understood. And then he turned and growled at the wolves around while the other wolves next to Yun Tian did the same.

Yun Tian was only curious at first and observing what Bolin wanted to do, but when he saw that Bolin looked at his wounds and immediately made up his mind, he couldn't help but laugh happily.

"You are right Bolin, we were enemies only moments before. You may be a wolf, but just like you, I like you better than most of my own kind. Besides, we don't know where they might go if we let them go and they wouldn't help much even if we brought some with us."

After that, his happy smile faded as his eyes became filled with killing intent and ferocity once more.
