New Faction (3)

"Next" Arthur said while already writing 2 companies and 3 platoons that are needed for the reinforcement of the force in the new faction. He now only needs one more company. Soon the person sitting in front of him is willing to join the New faction for free but he only has a platoon so Arthur would be a little doubtful of the officer.

"Well if you wanna join the New faction and you don't wanna be paid I need a waiver for all of your men agreeing to this particular topic of yours. I and my men will be waiting tomorrow morning in front of this inn" Arthur said while writing the platoon name on a separate paper. After the man got up from his seat another man would sit in front of Arthur. The man would look at Arthur straight into his eyes. And the officer said "So you are the 2nd in command of the new factions" the officer asked.

Arthur replied with "technically right now I am the 2nd in command of the 2nd faction." Then another question would be asked to Arthur "how much is the pay for a company" Arthur replied with "50 gold for 4 weeks" The company leader would give a smile. And then replied, "Where would I sign this up?" Arthur would then slide the contract across the table and also hand the quill for the Company leader to sign the contract.

After that, the food would come and then the recruiting session was stopped. Some of the platoon leaders and company leaders were dismayed as they didn't get the offer. Arthur and his men would be munching on the food when a muscular man walked to them.

Then the man would speak with a rough low voice and said "Are you from the New faction I am cavalry lt shakes and I need a new leader to follow and I am interested in joining the New factions" Arthur would be biting a slice of meat and look at the muscular man. Arthur would then drop the meat on the plate and face the muscular man and said: "We are full. I already recruited the people who I need to be recruited. We don't have enough money to buy a cavalry unit for now".

But the man replied, "No need we will be joining and can I ask where is the commander of the New faction?" Arthur would be a bit doubtful but from the cavalry. But then again the cavalry Lt would speak "Don't worry I really want to talk to him about something" then Arthur would whisper "The commander is at the library at the west side of the Academy."

The cavalry Lt. would be glad tapping Arthur back and nods. From then on that man would smiling like it changes something into the muscular man. He then whistled and a group of men would stand up. Soon enough he would say "12th Cavalry company we are moving out prepare the horses and lances we are heading to the New faction we have been accepted their first cavalry unit" Arthur would almost puke in shock but nonetheless he was proud to recruit a cavalry unit he was sure Artirian would be shocked if ever he knows about the incoming cavalry force.

Soon the cavalry unit would move out and hop on their horses Arthur would then bid them farewell on their journey towards the cavalry. As Arthur looks at the cavalry unit he would feel that every time they move to a further place they are getting a lot of experience and knowledge, especially that their guide is Artirian who is able to help them in times of need.

Arthur would go back inside the inn and because of the new recruiting from the cavalry unit, there would be always some that are willing to offer their force to the New Faction from Arthur list the new forces that are recruited are 3 platoons and 3 companies those 3 platoons and companies are being paid while there another 1 platoon that is not willing to be paid but offers their services with the earlier cavalry unit that was lead by Lt.Shakes.

The line would still be long as the officer is still willing to join and Arthur would give a soft sigh but before he seated down on the chair he would give an announcement that they would only be now recruiting volunteer forces and not the paid forces. Some would be saddened by the announcement but some would be smiling as to be one of the new faction forces they would have a high chance that they can be discovered and their platoon or company or squad or unit would be assigned outside of the academy.

Because there is a certain rule in the academy if you have seen spectacular proficiency in the strategist battle there would be a chance to be handpicked by a Corp Commander, Colonel or a general sometimes a Field Marshal. Because the Strategist game can have a lot of viewers especially from the academy staff and from the commanding officer which can give them high opportunities in the empire itself.

Arthur grabs the quill and faces the new seated officer in front of him. The officer looks like an archer squad officer as it can be seen as a pin on the left chest. Arthur would then give the quill to the Archer officer and the archer officer would then sign ahead on the contract.

"We will meet tomorrow at morning in front of this building. If you are late on the desired time please read the instructions stated on the contract. "The Archer squad leader would nod at Artirian and stand up after the archer leader stands up. An officer from the musket squad would sit and then reach his hand for a handshake then Arthur would also reach a hand for their handshake.

Then the Musket squad leader would let out a small introduction with a minimal tone of voice "My name is warrant officer Brandon from the 4th musket squad I have 10 members inside my squad and I am willing and my team is also willing to join the new faction lead by the mysterious Ace of the freshmen" Arthur would then slide across the contract form and hands the quill. "Sign here and we will accept you and follow the guidelines on the contract. There is also stating the time and where we will meet for tomorrow. Be prepared"

The musket squad leader would nod and then stand up and head back to his team. The next officer that would seat and the last one would be a blonde hair and neat red tunic uniform. "I am from the noble lineages of the empire and I am willing and my unit to join the New factions.' Arthur would look at the officer and then goes back to the list and then said "Sorry we are full and maybe you wanted to join the Blue forces" then the officer would be furious and said,

"HAVE YOU GONE MAD I WAITED FOR SO LONG IN THIS LINE AND YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT YOU ARE FULL AND YOU WANTED MY UNIT TO JOIN THE BLUE FORCES!"

Arthur would then look at the officer seriously and the men beside him would already grip their sword but Arthur would hold them back. Even the inn master was a bit scared because of the escalation from Arthur table some of the officers inside the inn would get the attention from thereon.

Arthur would then stand up then look at the officer. The officer would smile as if he thinks that Arthur would apologize but he was wrong Arthur would grab his red tunic collar and pull it near his face.

Arthur would release a demonic type of killing intent that even some of the officers inside the inn were frightened and then in a whisper Arthur said "I tell you this blonde officer don't ever shout in front of my face got it" Arthur would then let go and the officer would be seated down.

Arthur would look at the paper and at the man and said "We are full so please we cannot accept your unit in the New factions" The blonde officer that was seated across Arthur would be frightened that he was sweating and his face would look pale. He then immediately stands up and runs towards one of the rooms because of shame.

After that Arthur and his would walk to their rooms to get some rest and have some self-time for their own.
