Better Stay in Limits

Enilese turned around and saw Pierce and Selina coming towards her . They stopped in front of her. Selina asked again , " Who was that person , Enilese ? Do you know him ? "

" I don't know him well but he saved me once . And today he was going to the forest where those creatures were . I had to stop him , so I asked him to accompany me to here . That's it . " But when she was speaking about Shawn , she couldn't but blushed a little as she remembered her attraction towards his green eyes . Whenever she looks at those eyes , she wants to get drowned in them .

" That's it ? So why are you blushing ? " Pierce asked this time .

" Blushing ? ha ha ha... I'm not . It must be the lights ." Enilese retorted , " By the way , how did you get drenched ? " , she asked to change the subject .

" Well , someone got confused between me and other creatures . " Pierce said sarcastically looking at Selina . Enilese confusedly looked at Selina .

" It was my fault . I didn't check before attacking . " Selina said to Enilese , then she looked at Pierce and said , " Haven't I apologized enough ? "

" Apologies don't work sometimes . " Pierce replied .

Pierce's words had some hidden meaning , Selina understood that . But Enilese couldn't get that so she said , " Pierce is right Selina . It is very cold today . And the water must have been very cold . So , what was he supposed to do with your apology ? "

The other two just stared at her while trying to understand what was she trying to say . Enilese noticed their expressions and giggled a bit . In between her giggling she said , " Selina , you should have given him your jacket instead of apology " Selina was going to take off her jacket when Pierce saw the thin t-shirt she was wearing underneath the jacket . He sighed and said , " What nonsense , how am I supposed to be fit in that . And I'm not cold . Now ... Enilese tell us what you experienced today . "

" What took you so long and why didn't you go to the colony ? " Ryan asked .

" Something came up , I'll go there next time . Have you contacted him ? " Shawn said .

" Yeah , he'll come to meet us . Then we can make a plan . "

Shawn only nodded .

They were going back to their base . They entered into the Willow forest . Sometimes later they heard some footsteps from some direction . Turning to those sounds , they met some neat looking humans but they knew those weren't any normal humans . Those people also noticed Shawn and Ryan .

" Oh look , we have guests here ! " Ryan said with a smirk .

But Shawn said in a cold voice , " If I remember correctly , I warned you not to cause any havoc here . All the recent events were your doings ! How dare you disobey my orders ? "

One of them said , " We can't deny that , but we had to hunt those humans . "

" I don't care what your reasons were , if you don't obey my orders , I won't hesitate to kill you . "

" Don't forget , we are allies , you are no different from us , you also work for the devil . " that human looking creature said .

Another of them said , " And it's not that you don't kill them .You kill more . We'll help you to finish those angels , but don't forget your part of bargain ."

They were about to leave when they heard Shawn's voice saying , " I remember everything . Better you remember that if the angels find out about these events , they will eventually increase their guard around this area and you know that you guys are no match for them . So better stay in limits . "

The creatures knew Shawn was right . So they didn't reply and left .

" Ahh , those stupids , don't even understand they are creating trouble for themselves . " Ryan lazily said .

" I think they have understood enough . Let's go ."

Enilese finished telling Selina and Pierce about the creatures . Pierce said , " Will they be still there if we go now ? "

Enilese said , " I should have confronted them . But their vibe was very dangerous . "

" It's okay , you did the right thing . Anyway today , I think we should guard around this area . We'll see them later . " Pierce instructed them . The other two nodded .
