Which path shall he choose?

Leviethein stands there staring at the three figures, still wondering where he is. The figure in the white hood says to him, "Leviethein, you must pick the path that you shall walk for eternity, shall it be that you want the powers of a great and powerful yet evil warlord, a bringer of light that burns demons eyes, or shall it be that you choose to be a demon slayer?" Leviethein looks at the white figure confused and asks about the powers of the warlord, to which the black figure that seems to resemble a grim reaper, says "If you choose the path of the evil warlord, you will have the powers of dark magic and tremendous strength." The white figure that seems to be an angel then says "If you choose the path of the bringer of light, you will gain the powers of light magic and super speed." The figure in the middle that stands out the most to Leviethein, not only because of the difference in colors but also because of how this figure seems to resemble a human. "If you choose the path of the demon slayer, you will gain bits of power every time you kill a demon, the stronger the demon that you kill, the more power you receive. Killing a demon like Argemaul will give you lots of power, power that reaches the limit of the highest ranking general in the world."

After thinking for what felt like hours, Leviethein finally chooses the path he shall partake in. He walks towards the demon slayer and tells the demon slayer that he wants to choose it's path. Red and blue particles start to float around Leviethein. Leviethein looks around him, a bit scared that there are a bunch of floating particles around him that are coming in bigger quantities while also getting closer to him. Leviethein is surrounded by these particles and then for a second, his vision goes dark, and when he can see again, he finds himself in his body, exactly where he died just 12 minutes ago.

Leviethein looks around and sees burning houses, crows feeding off of dead corpses, and what seems to be around 7-9 demons walking searching around in a group. Leviethein is about to run away, but then remembers everything that just happened, especially the part when the figure told him he gets stronger when he kills a demon. Leviethein picks up 2 swords and a dagger. Leviethein puts one sword into his sword holster, keeps the other one in his right hand, and his dagger in his left hand. Leviethein creeps up on the demons. He sees an opening as none of the demons are looking behind themselves. He runs up behind them and stabs one straight through the chest and then another one straight into the brain with the dagger. As soon as one of the demons drop dead to the ground, the others get alerted by this sound and turn around. Leviethein is able to slice the neck of one of the demons, lowering their numbers to 5. Leviethein can feel himself get stronger and faster as soon as this demon dies as it must of been a stronger one of the low ranked demons. The demons roar at Leviethein and one charges him, which gets greeted by a dagger straight to the heart of the demon. Now that there are only 4 left, Leviethein can see himself winning this battle. Leviethein throws his dagger at one demon, but misses as the demon dodges it. One of the four demons claws at Leviethein but his armor protects him, yet the part where the demon clawed at is almost damaged enough to show his bare skin. Leviethein slices downwards on the demon, almost cutting it in half but not enough strength was put behind the swing so his sword was now stuck in the demon. Leviethein leaves that sword as it would take longer to pull that out of the demon than to take his last weapon out of his holster. As soon as Leviethein pulls his last sword out, he gets cut in the leg by one of the demons that has swords embedded into its arms. This demon seems to be the strongest out of all of them, even the dead ones, so Leviethein smiles when he sees how much strength and speed he can get if he kills this demon. Leviethein swings his sword downwards at the demon but the demon blocks his attack by holding its arms up. The bone like blades this demon has in its arms crack a bit from the force of his attack. The demon slices at Leviethein but he blocks it, but then gets stabbed in his left arm by the other blade. The demon laughs and then goes for a stab straight for Leviethein's heart. Leviethein sees this as an opening and dodges the attack then stabs the demon in the gut. He pulls the sword out of the demon and then the demon falls to the floor dead. The other 2 demons back off a bit after realizing that their strongest demon has just died. The demons charge Leviethein at the same time thinking this is there last chance to kill him. Leviethein tanks the punch of one of the demons and then slices the other one's head off. The demon that punched him before, kicks Leviethein backwards and then jumps at him. Just like what one of the demon's had attempted on him before. Leviethein stabs straight through the demon's stomach. After all the demon's have died, Leviethein can feel the power he has just received from killing all of those demons. He holsters his sword and then starts following where the demon army marches towards.

After walking for half an hour, Leviethein lays down on the dirt path, exhausted from his last battle. At least an hour or two passes before Leviethein gets woken up by the rustling sounds of bushes near him, he can feel someone or something watching him. Leviethein looks around but doesn't see nor hear any bushes rustling. He starts to continue walking the dirt path the demon army walked to continue their onslaught, until suddenly he feels a sharp pain in his left leg. Leviethein looks around and sees a goblin with a bloody knife. Leviethein looks at his leg and sees blood slowly dripping onto the dirt path, he looks back at the goblin, and suddenly 10 - 20 more appear behind that goblin, and behind all of them is a red goblin. Leviethein has never seen a red goblin before, neither has he seen this many goblins before. Leviethein draws his sword and the goblins immediately charge him. Leviethein slices one of the goblin's head clean off, and then slashes another one in the chest, killing it. Leviethein stabs and slashes at the goblins hoping to hit one as he doesn't see much hope in winning if he targets them individually. Leviethein almost gets stabbed in his gut, but his armor luckily saves him, he sighs in relief and then cuts the goblin's arm off. Leviethein starts killing them one by one, every now and then getting a cut on his arms, legs, and sides. Leviethein can only count 3 goblins left and then the red goblin in the back, crossing its arms. Leviethein kills the remaining 3 goblins and then starts walking towards the red goblin, ready for a fight. "You have slain all of my men, well done human. I will let you walk away from this battle as you can't defeat me, I'm way too out of your league." Leviethein gets angered by the red goblin's words, "Let me be the judge of that." he says. The red goblin smirks and pulls out its daggers and then charges at Leviethein. Leviethein didn't expect the goblin to charge him so the goblin gets a quick cut on Leviethein. Leviethein swings and slashes at the goblin only to miss or get dodged, the goblin charges when it sees an opening, but it was actually a trap and Leviethein slashes the goblins side. Since the goblin is quite a bit smaller than a human, Leviethein's hit did a lot of damage to the goblin. The goblin starts to look like it's taking this battle more seriously now and it throws one of its daggers at Leviethein, which sticks straight into his right arm. Now that Leviethein's main arm is somewhat disabled due to the dagger sticking out of his arm, he has to use his left arm to fight with. Leviethein swings at the goblin multiple times but misses every swing, the goblin stabs him in the leg and Leviethein screams out in pain. Leviethein knows he can't take another stab so he has to finish this goblin in one more swing. Leviethein gets on one knee, pretending his leg is disabled, and the goblin charges in, falling for yet another trap. Leviethein looks the goblin straight in the eyes and says "You're not very bright, are you?" Leviethein slices the goblin in half from bottom to top. Leviethein holsters his sword and takes the dagger out of his arm and puts it in a pouch for later use. Leviethein starts to once again walk the dirt path where the demon's have marched not too long ago.
