Chapter Fifty
Malim watched with a stern face as he supervised the training of all the trainees that were currently under his tutelage. His eyes rolled over each and every individual trainee, assessing their shortcomings as they swung their swords and daggers, the sharp blades digging into the enchanted wood of the training targets.
At this time in their training, they were just about to step up into the next phase where the actual enchantment of the training dummies would be activated. As of now, they were just warming up.
"Enough!" His deep voice bellowed, echoing through the expansive training field. The trainees stopped in their motions, turning to look at him and lowering their swords.
With his own large sword held up across his back in its sheath, he walked forward, stepping into the harsh sun and letting it glare down on his head of red hair.
