A blinding, powerful explosion shook the earth as the building where the headquarters of the Black Dot organization was situated blew up into smithereens! A huge cloud of fire and smoke rose up into the sky, forming a giant mushroom.
Within that smoke, at the bottom of a crater that was dug deep into the ground by the explosion, a man whose burnt skin was exposed by his clothes that had also been badly burnt landed on the ground. His breath was ragged and one of his eyes was forced shut by his injuries.
Herbert looked around for any signs of the lightning mage. He had used his most powerful attack in that spell, and had drained most of his mana reserves.
