Going Beyond the Limit

The ground beneath August shook with intensity and split open and from it came the large, gaping mouth of a red-coloured plant with four petals. Its petals extended outwards to cover August and attempted to swallow him whole and consume his flesh within its mouth. 

However, August's senses had never left Tristan since the beginning of the battle and he always guarded against a surprise attack. Therefore as soon as his senses picked up an unusual movement within the ground he immediately took action.

Wind Sorcery: Float!

His body floated in the air and dodged the ambush that Tristan had been preparing all this time. The Blood-draining flower let out a shrill sound of anger after it missed its mark. From its mouth, several blood-red tentacles lunged forth at August's figure that was floating in mid-air and wanted to grab hold of its 'food'.

However, how could August allow the Blood-Draining Flower to have its way?
