The Solar Dragon King

The story of an S-Class Wizard who's also a Dragon Slayer in the world of Fairy Tail. Join him as he climbs to the top of the magic-filled world, all while proving why he's the strongest Dragon Slayer. Update will be once a week, but if I get a lot of power stones, I can add another chapter. ‐------------------------------------------------------ Yeah, it's a Harem fanfic. Personally, I enjoy Harem stories, so all my fanfics (old and new) will most likely be Harem. It is R-18, so I will have lemons in the story. I'll try to space them out, but if you don't want to read them, you're welcome to skip them, as it won't affect the flow of the story. ‐------------------------------------------------------ I don't own any of the pictures (including cover art), Fairy Tail, or the characters. My OC character design is Ookurikara from Touken Ranbu.

Ch 7: The Sun's Radiance

"This is it," Drakar murmured, his voice filled with anticipation. "Once the ritual is complete, the eternal night will descend upon Fiore, and darkness will reign supreme."

Sharon knew he couldn't afford to let Drakar finish the ritual. He had to act quickly and decisively. With a deep breath to steady his nerves, he stepped out of the shadows and into the chamber's dim light.

Drakar turned to see Sharon, his eyes widening in surprise. "You!" he exclaimed, noticing the intruder. "How did you...?"

"Stop this madness, Drakar. You don't want to do this." Sharon said as he glared at his enemy.

"Madness?" Drakar sneered as a maniacal grin spread on his face. "You legal wizards wouldn't understand this madness of mine, Helios."

"We, dark guild wizards have been forced to suffer because of those in the magic council for far too long. I will make them taste my despair."

"You know that this won't do anything except incite a war. A war that could lead to so many wizards and non-wizards dying. Don't let the darkness consume you, there's still time for you to turn back. You can choose a different path, one of redemption and forgiveness." Sharon said as he tried to dissuade Drakar from plunging into the dark side.

Drakar chuckled darkly, shaking his head. "Redemption? Forgiveness? Such weak words, Helios. Power is what matters. You know that as well as I do. The council must fear us, just as they made us fear them."

"Drakar, you're blinded, there is more than just getting revenge. I know how it feels to be consumed by revenge, but there truly is more to life." Sharon said as he remembered the faces of his dear friends in Fairy Tail, and his lover, Mirajane.

Drakar's expression grew cold, and he raised his own hand, dark energy swirling around his fingertips. "Then, Helios of Fairy Tail, you leave me with no choice but to eliminate you. And when I'm done, I'll make sure your name is forgotten, just like the Council's."

A warm glow surrounded Sharon as he took a deep breath.

"Then I have no choice but to put both you and your plans down, Drakar," Sharon said as he launched forward, hurtling toward Drakar with a fist coated in the majestic flames of the sun.

"You can try, Helios," Drakar muttered as his silhouette melded into the shadows. Tendrils of darkness surged forward, toward Sharon with deadly precision.

"Luminous FIST!" Sharon said as he wrapped his fists in the flames of the sun. With his hands coated in radiant light, he punched out, dissipating the tendrils into nothing.

With a quick thought, hundreds of tiny balls of solar energy appeared around Sharon as they rapidly took the form of nearly invisible senbons.

"Solar Senbon," Sharon muttered as they shot toward Drakar, like rays of light. The senbons moved with unmatched speed and precision, aiming to pierce through Drakar's defenses.

"Heh, as if I'd let you take me down that quickly. Blink of the Abyss." Drakar said as he sunk into his shadow and reappeared behind Sharon.

"I expected that ... Drakar. Solar Dragon's Solesurge." Sharon muttered under his breath as his legs were coated with solar energy. With a single motion, he leaned his body sideways and launched his leg into Drakar who just appeared behind him.

Infusing his legs with solar energy, Sharon delivered a series of lightning-fast kicks. Drakar, although swift, found it difficult to evade every strike, a few kicks landing and leaving painful burns from the scorching solar energy.

Sensing the threat Sharon possessed, Drakar rapidly jumped back multiple times.

"Blades of the Abyss!" Drakar yelled as blades made of darkness launched toward Sharon, as fast as Sharon's senbons had been launched earlier.

Sharon's eyes flicked around as he backflipped and used his agile body to his advantage, dodging every blade, almost as though he was dancing.

"Bastard, what the hell?" Drakar cursed before he began to grin. Dark energy left his body as a dome of pure darkness appeared around Sharon and Drakar.

"Welcome to the Abyss Veil," Drakar said with a mocking tone as Sharon closed his eyes and tried to listen to his surroundings.

'Can I disperse the veil? Well, it's worth a try.' Sharon thought as he took a deep breath in.

"Solar Dragon's ROAR!!" Sharon yelled as a thunderous gust of fire and light blasted out of his mouth, shattering the veil.

"I-impossible. You might be an S-Class wizard but there's no way we're this far apart!" Drakar said as he stared at Sharon.

"I didn't waste my time plotting against others and trying to take over the world, Drakar. I put every ounce of my being into my magic. That is the difference between us." Sharon replied as he smirked.

"Haha, I thought you'd say it was the Power of Friendship or something, like those other legal guild wizards!" Drakar yelled as Sharon couldn't help but laugh.

'Natsu would've said that, haha.'

"I won't lie. It is because of them, that I had so many opportunities to grow into who I am now." Sharon said as he shrugged his shoulders a bit.

"Whatever, I'm not done yet. Not even close."

"Heh, what a coincidence then, I'm nowhere near done either."

The two glared at each other before launching themselves straight forward. Hundreds of Shadow blades appeared around Drakar, Sharon countered with his Solar Senbons.

"You can't beat me, Drakar. I have the advantage here." Sharon muttered as Drakar grinned.

"That doesn't matter, I only need to last another 20 minutes, and the world as you know it will be gone, Helios."

A sense of urgency grew in Sharon's head as he panicked. Drakar used that exact moment to cast another Abyss Veil.

"I've broken this once, I can do it again," Sharon said as he launched a Solar Dragon's Roar, but to his surprise, it didn't shatter.

"Did you really think that I became a guild master and didn't know how to adapt in a fight?" Drakar mocked as he ran towards Sharon, with a hazy form.

"Heh, seems I underestimated you. My apologies. I won't hold back." Sharon said as he coated his body in solar energy which rapidly shot out and created an illusion of there being many of him.

"Solar Mirage Dance," Sharon says with a smile as there are now multiple of him standing in front of Drakar.

"You can clone yourself? Damnit! That wasn't in the report!" Drakar groaned as the Sharons launched toward him.

The majestic sun fire coated the right fist of each Sharon as they all jumped toward Drakar. However, they phased right through.

"IT'S AN ILLUSION?" Drakar screamed as he felt fooled. However, the moment he believed it was an illusion, and let his guard down, the real Sharon who joined his clones, nailed Drakar in the stomach.

"Man, that felt nice. A clean hit." Sharon said as he shook his hand a bit, and dissipated his mirage.

"YOU!!!" Drakar felt enraged as he glared at Sharon.

"Abyss Explosion." He muttered as thousands of shadow tendrils launched toward Sharon, at speeds he could barely react to.

"SOLAR NOVA BURST!" Sharon yelled as his body glowed at an intensity similar to the sun, forcing the tendrils to dissipate into nothing.

Now, both Sharon and Drakar were low on energy.

'Damnit, I haven't even been able to absorb energy ever since I came to this island! He planned this well.' Sharon thought as he saw Drakar crawling toward the altar.

"No, you don't," Sharon muttered as he stood up and walked forward, reaching the altar.

"Don't touch it! Don't you dare touch it!!" Drakar screamed as Sharon stared at the crystal sitting on the altar.

The crystal faintly glowed as Sharon could feel an incredibly powerful aura deep within it. The power of the moon.

"You ... how did you get this crystal? Why does it possess a trace of Selene's power?" Sharon asked as he glared at Drakar.

"Hah? Who's Selene? I bought this in the black market." Drakar replied as Sharon turned back to face the crystal.

'It's incredibly unstable, it'll blow up and if it does ... Fiore will no longer exist.' Sharon thought as he tried to come up with a way to prevent this.

"What was your plan with this? What did the person who sold you this say?"

"Heh, why would I tell you? Damn you Helios. I will get you back for this, I promise!"

Sharon's eyebrows twitched as he came up with an idea. A dumb one.

He grabbed the crystal and surrounded it with his remaining solar energy, effectively sealing it. However, the next moment, it began to absorb his energy faster and faster.

'I knew this was a dumb move. Hah, well ... I'll trust in you, Esvoku.'

Sharon placed the crystal on his chest as it integrated into his body.

So, I'm finally back everyone! Didn't think I'd be in bed for this long, but I am back. Haha, it feels nice to be out of bed.

Anyway, my apologies for not uploading, but here's the next chapter!

Also, I have decided to add Lilith to the harem, and along with her ... these are up for vote.

I'll add the ones that have a lot of support after a month or so.

3) His cat from Edolas that he will 'borrow'

4) Ultear Milkovich
