Fight-1

Liang Wei slapped his forehead as he remembered the upcoming fight between Fang Xia and Huang Wei.

Glancing at his old smartphone, he realized that school was almost over.

"Ah, I can't miss this! When will I ever get to watch a pretty girl fight again?"

With a groan, Liang Wei slowly got up from the bed, feeling his muscles ache slightly.

Ignoring the twinge of pain in his body, he hastily made his way out of the infirmary, his mind set on reaching the practice hall in time.

As Liang Wei walked, he couldn't help but notice a few students whispering and pointing in his direction.

Their hushed tones were barely audible, but Liang Wei could sense that they were discussing something about him.

He felt a bit self-conscious and wondered if he had something on his face or if his clothes were disheveled.

Suddenly, their words became clearer.

"Isn't that the 'Zombie-man'?"

"Oh yeah, I heard he's unkillable. Like a cockroach."

"I heard he fought against the 'Viper' and won!"

"No way, he just survived. The 'Viper' went easy on him."

"Either way, he's scary. Is he one of the Upper Demons now?"

Liang Wei scratched his head in disbelief.

How did his embarrassing defeat turn into these ridiculous rumors?

He couldn't even land a single punch on that smug guy!

Maybe he should start a rumor that he's actually a secret master fighter who lost on purpose to fool his opponent into a false sense of security.

Yeah, that's it.

"Hey, Liang Wei, right?" A voice sounded from behind him.

Liang Wei turned around and saw one of the trio he had met earlier that day, Zhang Wei.

"Yeah, that's me," Liang Wei replied hesitantly, unsure why Zhang Wei was approaching him.

"You're heading to the practice hall, aren't you?" Zhang Wei asked, approaching Liang Wei with a smile.

"Yeah, I am," Liang Wei replied.

Zhang Wei's smile widened. "Me too! Let's go together!"

Liang Wei felt a bit surprised by Zhang Wei's sudden friendliness, but he nodded in agreement and they walked together towards the practice hall.

As they walked towards the practice hall, Zhang Wei struck up a conversation with Liang Wei.

"I saw your fight with Shen Yan," he said.

Liang Wei tensed up at the mention of his humiliating defeat, but tried to remain composed.

"Oh, really?" he replied, trying to sound casual.

"Yeah, I was impressed," Zhang Wei continued.

"Shen Yan is a tough opponent, but you held your own against him."

Liang Wei blinked in surprise. Was Zhang Wei being serious?

"Uh, thanks," he replied uncertainly.

Zhang Wei's expression suddenly turned serious and his tone became grave.

"But be careful, Liang Wei. Shen Yan is not one to take a defeat lightly. You never know what he might do to seek revenge and erase the humiliation he suffered today."

Liang Wei gulped nervously at Zhang Wei's warning.

'I guess I should speed up farming SP.'

"Thanks for the warning," Liang Wei said, trying to keep his voice steady.

"I'll be careful."

Zhang Wei nodded, his expression softening again.

"Don't worry too much about it. I heard that Shen Yan is leaving for a while to train under someone. So You should be safe for now."

Liang Wei breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good to know."

As they arrived at the practice hall, Liang Wei saw that a large crowd had already gathered, all eager to witness the fight between Fang Xia and Huang Wei.

The Practice hall was a spacious room with a wooden floor.

It was originally designed for fencing classes, but for reasons unknown to the students, the school had abandoned it.

As a result, the hall had become a popular spot for students to prove their worth through fighting.

Its location on the outskirts of the campus ensured that the noise from the students' brawls did not disturb the classes in session.

Despite its neglected appearance, the hall was well-maintained by the students themselves, who swept the floor regularly and repaired any damages to the walls or ceiling.

The dim lighting and lack of amenities gave the hall a rough and rugged appearance, but for the students who sought to test their skills, it was the perfect place to do so.

"Who do you think will win?"

"The Heavenly Demon obviously. Huang Wei doesn't stand a chance against her."

"But he seemed confident. Perhaps, he could really do it?"

The ones chattering were obviously the normal students and the lower ranking demons.

In front of the circle of the crowd stood the top-ranking demons, all standing solemnly.

Number 4, Su Yan, known as the "Joy" Demon, was a girl with a sultry figure.

Her uniform blouse was lowered so that her cleavage could be seen clearly, drawing the attention of the male students around her.

"Is he out of his mind?" she muttered, looking at the calm young boy standing beside her.

The boy looked like a little kid with his short stature and height.

He was Li Feng, Number 3, the "Drunk" Demon, known for his tendency to get drunk on fruit juices and carefree attitude.

Li Feng opened his eyes in response to Su Yan's question.

"The hell would I know," he replied with a shrug.

Shaking her head, Su Yan shifted her gaze towards Shen Yan, who was standing amongst them, wearing a displeased expression on his face.

With a playful expression, she turned to him and said, "Oh Shen Yan, I heard you couldn't even beat a regular student in your class. Is that true, darling?"

Shen Yan's scowl deepened as he glared at her.

"Shut up, or I'll tear those fake lumps off your chest," he snarled.

A twitch developed on Su Yan's forehead, her face twisting with amusement.

"Oh really?" she spat out. "I'd love to see you try."

Meanwhile, Liang Wei was attempting to make his way to the front in order to get a better view of the fight.

"This is ridiculous," he muttered under his breath.

"I didn't come all this way just to stare at the backs of people's heads."
