The Yule Sacrifice

It was a weekend in Hogwarts, the beautiful snow was adding to the Castle's beauty. There stood a boy, dressed in a thick coat and a turtleneck long sleeved shirt, with matching black pants and boots, staring outside the window, in the quiet corridor of the almost empty castle, there were a few residents such as the teachers and some of the students who stayed behind, yule was approaching, instead of him to be home, he sent a letter to his mother informing her, he was busy, being one to respect her son's privacy, she agreed.

Like any other noble family, the Zabinis still practice the Olde traditions that has been banned by the Ministry, because of 'Dark magic'. Seriously anything could become dark magic to their eyes. For him, Dark magic is based on the intent of the caster.

We offer sacrifices for Lady Magic, but it seems people of the Britain wizardry world have choosen to be ignorant and ignore such important practices all for the sake of a Dark Lord who ended up beaten by an infant (not confirmed).

For the Yule Sacrifice,he decided to perform the ritual and offer small critters which he would hunt on his own, maybe he should add magical stones and flowers to strengthen the magic. Yes excellent. That would work.

It would take a few days to gather the item but over all it is worth it, the sacrifice would also benefit his magical core and affinity not to mention deepen his connection to Lady Magic and her blessings.

Walking without any destination in mind, he thought about the three Grinfindors and their plans, it interested him the Philosopher Stone, he had researched on it, A stone that can give both immortality and Turn things in Gold, any cryptomaniac's wild dream.

Deep in thought, he bumped into a body, causing the other party to fall to the ground, looking at who he had bumped into, Harry Potter. Funny enough, he was in his thoughts earlier.

Not wanting to be rude to a potentially useful person, he said"Oh, sorry for bumping into you, I didn't see you." Trying to look worried.

Harry who wasn't paying attention to where he was going, bumped into someone causing him to fall on his butt.He looked up to see the Slytherin that sometimes watches him, for reasons unknown to him.

"It's fine, I wasn't paying attention to anyway" Harry said hesitant and wary of the Slytherin.

Blaise stuck his hand out in front of Harry to pull him up, Harry wary still held the hand, Blaise pulled him up, saying "I hope you aren't hurt right, I don't think I would come out alive if people knew I hurted their Boy-who-lived, right?" I humored jokily.

Harry was surprised, was he joking with him, but he couldn't help but chuckle a little, playing along"I don't know, but I would help you out to reduce your punishment" he shrugged playfully with a small smile on his face.

Blaise amused, "really do you really think I would let morons hurt me?, I am a Slytherin after all," this response caused Harry to laugh.

"You aren't has bad I thought you would be," Harry muttered.

"Of course not, I don't do silly and childish things like antagonizing an influencial person just because my father is in the ministry"

"Exactly, now that I think about we haven't had a proper introduction "

It was truth, Harry was talking to someone he hardly knew about even his name.

"For starters, My name is Blaise Zabini, pleased to meet you " sticking my hand out for an handshake.

Harry shaked the hand, smiling" Harry, Harry Potter "
