Camera

"I installed few cameras on the corners of my door and on top too." I got up from my chair, grabbing my laptop, cursing myself in my mind for forgetting this important thing.

Unlocking my laptop I opened the footage of yesterday, forwards it a little near 12:45. I let the footage play a little, and saw a man entering the footage at 13:00. He was covering his face with a mask and a hat, making it hard for me to recognize him. Switching the camera view, I forwarded it to same time.

"Damn it! We can't see his face, he is smart." Lily spit out the words in anger.

"Can I handle your laptop for a moment?" Fred looked at me. I nodded and passed my laptop to Fred.

He opened few apps and started erasing the mask and cap. I felt a happiness blooming somewhere in my heart, but as soon as I saw the person on the screen. My face dropping, feeling the sky falling on me, my head shaking in sideways saying a silent no. My lips parted but words never came to surface.
