Prologue

The red light blinked on and off as Eve was roused from her

sleep. Is this a dream or sleep paralysis? Eve wondered as the

light blinked rapidly for five seconds making Eve bolt upright

from her bed. What a strange dream, she thought as she

rubbed her eyes drowsily. Checking her bedside clock, it read

1:00 AM "great!" Eve muttered. Since she was already

awake, she picked up her phone to check unread messages

and view WhatsApp statuses. After a few minutes, she

casually looked to the wall opposite her window and she saw

the faint red light. Eve sat straight, rigid, what the hell?? she

thought, scared. Slowly, she looked at her open window and

saw the tiny beam of light coming from one of the windows of

her neighbour's house. Eve sat frozen what kind of prank is

this? She thought as she watched the light fade out.
