LIVING WITH GIRLS

Markus and I continued talking until midnight. How do I know that? The convent had bells the rang at midnight. Markus just told me so.

"What are the bells for?" I asked checking the window to see if I could see the convent from there.

It was barely visible and all I could see was a patio with a little table with no chairs.

"I think they are for prayers or something. They brothers do it as well and they sing this bone chilling song and it goes quiet. I think they only pray at midnight; one minute. Listen."

I could hear the sisters start singing and Markus was right, it was bone chilling.

'...Ye are... dying and dying....over... again..." those were the only words I could hear and I honestly don't want to hear anymore.

"We should sleep." I suggested and Markus nodded.

The girls' dormitorium was cooler than the boys' dormitorium so we had to use two blankets at once. I fell asleep soon after. I woke up soon later but it was still dark and Markus was missing from the bed. I sat up on the bed and looked around the room, spotting Markus looking out the window.

"Hey." I called out to him and he put a finger on his lips to shut me up.

"Come see this." he whispered smiling.

Is there someone on the patio? The smile on his face reassured me that it wasn't something scary. I got up and walked quietly to him smiling even though I had not seen anything yet. He made room for me Infront of him because I was slightly shorter than he was and I looked where he was pointing. There was a shabby looking man standing with a nun. He seemed to be asking for food or maybe money but the situation quickly changed and the two got into a passionate kiss. A laugh broke in my throat and I had to stifle it back and Markus was struggling too.

"I heard moans when I woke up." Markus whispered laughing,"If you had your phone we would have recorded it."

My laughing stopped instantly at the mention of the phone. How did he know about it? I was about to turn my head when he held the top of my head to stop me.

"We might end up kissing if you turn. I only like Liv. I won't tell. I saw them yesterday."

I nodded my head and he let go of my head. I looked at the couple and saw that they weren't kissing anymore and the nun seemed to be asking him to leave. He run away and she fell to her knees like she was praying. I laughed and so did Markus. I feel like I might end up telling someone what we just witnessed for the fun of it. Yes, I like getting deserving people into trouble so their true colors are exposed. Another elder looking nun came out and found the faker pretend praying and dragged her back inside or out of view of any prying eyes such as mine. We moved away from the window and went back to bed.

I didn't fall asleep like Markus and stayed up looking at the ceiling. The room is identical to the ones in our dorm and even the placement of things is the same. Would I get into trouble for rearranging them? I don't like redecorating stuff so I certainly won't try it out.

"What's up?" I heard Markus ask me.

I looked at him and saw he was looking up at the ceiling just as I was. He had a perfect side profile I must say. If he has kids with Vee they will be very attractive babies and their hair will probably be like their father. He turned to face me questioningly making me realize that I was yet to answer his question.

"I was just thinking about how similar the rooms are." I said looking back up at the ceiling.

"Similar? The rooms are exactly the same. Did you just notice?"

"Yeah. I mean, yes. I didn't look around much when we came to see Vee."

"What's your password?"

So he had even tried to check my phone. It's good that I put a password. Wait! Vee doesn't have a password! Oh wait...I think I put one for her.

"Why?" I asked looking at him again.

He was looking up at the ceiling blankly and he seemed lost in thought. A few seconds went by then he finally opened up his mouth to speak.

"Curious." he answered.

I was waiting for him to ask about Olive's password but the question never came. He said goodnight and turned the other way and I watched him for a few seconds before shutting my eyes to fall asleep. I had a dreamless satisfying sleep and woke up to the sounds of girls chatting in the corridor. I looked at Markus who was still asleep and elbowed his side to wake him. He woke up groaning and stretched his long arms, nearly pushing me off the bed. He rolled over to the other side and fell off, taking the blankets with him. He didn't move so I got down from his side to check on him. He had fallen back asleep so I gave his a nice wake up kick in the rear end and he almost curses at me.

"Wake up. We gave to go back all the way to our dorm." I said and he stretched again.

At least he woke up this time. I waited for him to get up while spreading the bed and when he was fully awake, we prepared to go out. We had to wear our uniforms to got out because we obviously wouldn't be pardoned for waking around in boxers. The corridor was quieter than earlier which meant that most girls were bathing already. Markus was the one to open the door and I went out first. The girls who still lingered there started screaming upon seeing us and Markus innocently shut the door. My eyes were on the stairs where the girls were running off to then for some reason I looked behind at the other end of the corridor. Elise was coming out from her room, already looking cross but that wasn't what caught my attention.

She was wearing this see through night gown and if I'm correct she only has panties underneath it. Her nipples were hard from the cold morning air and even though her body type isn't something I would have fallen for initially, I found myself feeling excited from the sight of her. She was fairly curved and she looked so vulnerable like this. Her long hair was tied up in a messy but clean looking bun that made her look a little bit taller. Because she was from sleep, the dress was hanging off her shoulders and her skin was exposed. Her reflexes were quick and she covered herself with a towel before Markus could also see her. She glared at me and I smiled at her. She composed herself and quickly walked past us and down the stairs.

"Why are you smiling? We need to go." Markus said and he took my hand and led me down the stairs.

Because of how fast he was walking, we caught up to Elise and she looked like a frightened kitten. So much for acting all tough around me. Her shoulders were still exposed so I took the liberty to stroke her on her bare skin when I walked past her. She stiffened instantly and glared at me. Knowing that Markus wasn't looking at me, I blew her a kiss that turned her face sour. It looks like Vee isn't back from the clinic. I'll see her later I guess. Markus and I headed to the common bathroom and bathed quickly then made the much dreaded journey to our room. We quickly got dressed and took our bags to the girls' dormitorium to our new room.

While Markus put his things in order, I took my phone and tried to find out what was wrong with Vee but as people say don't search for your symptoms on Google. Every search ended with a possibility of dying. When Markus was done, we both rushed to our classes afterwards and I was so happy when Olive finally came to class. She sat at the back of the class and even though she didn't see me when she first came in she did see me after sitting. I could see the joy in her eyes as she looked at me. When our morning classes were done, I rushed over to her and gave her a big hug. She reciprocated and it made me happy to feel her strong grip on me.

"I had been waiting for you for a long time. I'm glad you're here. Are you okay? Does it hurt anywhere?" I asked her without stopping.

"I'm fine don't worry."

Her response sounded true but I remembered my research and felt worried.

"But you slept throughout the day and you had a fever. I was so worried I didn't even sleep, I even looked up...." I kept quiet after that because I remembered that no one was allowed to use a phone so if anyone heard me I would be in trouble and and get her involved,"....some diseases in the books from the library." I finished with a lie and she smiled at me.
