After my heated kiss with Elise and her adorable escape, I went to rejoin Markus where he was waiting for me so that we could go to the dorm together. I am hope that nothing scary happens once we get there and I hope I can dream about shorty and that she can dream about me. Our walk to the dorm felt shorter than I had expected and Markus and I took a moment to just look at the building. We were both praying as we ascended the stairs, loud and clear so that whatever was there wouldn't harm us. When we reached out floor we took our time looking through the rooms to make sure no one was there. After our short and much dreaded search, we went to the bathroom and made sure to do everything in advance before going back to the room.

"What did you and Elise speak about?" Markus asked suddenly as I was unfolding the blanket.

"Why should I tell you?" I asked back and he grinned.

"I don't know....I guess you didn't talk but did something."

"What?!" I exclaimed and he placed a finger on his grinning lips,"You saw that?"

"I was coming to tell you that Sr Drevin had gone in to see Liv and then I kinda just saw it."

That means two people saw us kiss. This can't be good. I was about to yell at Markus when he said,

"I sort of kissed Liv too."

"You did what?!"

"Shhhh....Stop shouting. It was to put her to non-walking sleep. Elise told me too and it worked."

I walked towards him and fisted his shirt angry. How could he and how could Elise allow that?!

"Where was I?" I asked.

"Hitting your head on the wall." he answered.

I touched my forehead and then he laughed.

"You think this is funny?"

"No. I was laughing because you actually hit yourself from behind. You weren't using much force otherwise I think you would have killed yourself."

"Don't do it again. You should have her consent."

"Did Elise give her consent?" he asked grinning again and I frowned at him,"I guess not."

I continued what I was doing and he started laughing. I think I won't sleep early today after the kiss, being exposed and Olive being in the clinic. I might use my phone for the night once Markus falls asleep. From how he looks I don't think he will be sleeping early either. We sat on the bed in awkward silence then Markus got up abruptly. He searched through the wardrobe and got back on the bed with playing cards in his hands.

"How 'bout we play a game?" ha asked shuffling them like an expert.

"Sure." I said sitting with my legs crossed.

We had barely played one game when we heard a light tap on the window. I became rigid and looked at Markus. He is older so it's only fair that he should be the one to check what is happening. The dorm had no balconies for a student to manage to climb up so the only way someone could get up here was with a ladder or if they were..... levitating. We certainly would have heard the ladder being placed by the window so the person is levitating. Markus pointed at the broom and mop in the corner and I quickly went to get them. I gave him the stick of the broom after removing the head and I took the mop.

The tap was heard again and a second later a knock was heard at the door. Great. I can't send Markus to check both sides. I took deep breaths and prayed it was Br Michael.

"Br Mike! Is that you?!" I shouted and got no response.

Who am I kidding? If it had been Br Michael he would have opened the door already.

"On three Ollie." I heard Markus say in a firm voice; isn't he afraid?

I nodded my head and he started the count.

"One....two....three!"

I closed my eyes, swung the door wide open and wacked the mop at whoever was outside. There were no screams apart from Markus so I opened my eyes and found a headless body standing outside. I wacked harder and faster while screaming but the body was dodging my attacks. Markus' loud footsteps coming towards me made me even more fearful and I looked at him. The head had come in through the window, levitating and the body started to move in as well. I cried then and the lights started blinking. We squatted on the ground and screamed for Br Michael to help us like we were little girls and all the while we were poking at the things closing in on us.

"Boys!" I heard Br Michael's voice shouting as he came up the stairs.

I grabbed Markus' arm and pulled him with me so we could go to Br Michael and I was even brave enough to push the body out of the way using the mop. When brother Michael was in sight, Markus and I run towards him and hid behind his back. He looked even more frightened than we were and he said shivering,

"Run."

We started running down the stairs and I saw him pull out a Bible from his pocket and he started praying in the language I believe is Latin. The headless body started convulsing as it moved towards him. While he prayed the head started following Markus and I. I still had my mop and Markus had the broom. We managed to attack and slam it to the wall, successfully rendering it...well...unconscious. We exited the boys dormitorium after waking up almost all the students. Whoever is still asleep in this noise must be a really deep sleeper.

About an hour later Br Michael exited the building with the students that had remained inside following him. He looked so pale I thought he would pass out from fear and exhaustion.

"Return to your rooms right this instant. The third floor is off bounds. Go there at your own risk." he said and the boys started murmuring,"If you are afraid to sleep alone then go hang yourself, I don't care. Go back to your rooms!"

I had expected him to give permission for them to sleep in pairs as he had done for Markus and I but he didn't. When everyone had gone back inside he spoke to us in a calmer tone,

"You'll get your belongings in the morning. For now let's find you a place to sleep."

"Aren't the other dorms full?" I asked.

"They are." he answered and then he started walking in the direction of the girl's dorms.

I already had a rough ide of what was going to happen. He was going to get us a room there; interesting. I was not surprised when we entered the girls' dormitorium. Br Michael asked us to remain close to the door while he went to ask Sr Drevin for permission to let us stay. Isn't she supposed to be with Olive right now? I became slightly worried and then I relaxed when I saw that he spoke to another sister instead.

"Sr Drevin isn't here at the moment. Sr Melissa has given permission for you to stay the night. I'll have to asked Sr Drevin in the morning for you two to stay longer."

"So we are sleeping in here? With the girls?" Markus asked sounding a little worried.

"Yes. You could go back if you...."

"No!" I exclaimed before Br Michael could finish his words,"We can manage right here."

I would rather sleep on the lawn than return to that cursed dorm.

"Your INDIVIDUAL rooms will be cleansed by the priest....once we reach him of course." he said,"I was told your sister has her room here." "Yeah she does." I said feeling happier because I would get to keep an eye on Vee....if Sr Drevin agrees.

"Yes, Mr Rogers. It's yes not that nonsense. Now answer me like you're a student of English."

"Yes Br Mike." I said standing straight.

"Michael. I don't remember asking you to shorten my name. I'm Lazarus Michael; Br Michael to you. Now what do you say?"

"Yes, Br Michael."

"Good. The room opposite your sister's room is empty. That way you can keep an eye on her."

"Thank you Br Michael." Markus and I said.

He started to walk away then he stopped to look at us as we stood watching him.

"Aren't you sleepy or are you hoping that I'll come sing you a lullaby?" he asked us and we started to move.

"Ummm...Br Michael." I called to him and he blinked at me lazily like he was telling me to continue,"How tight is your belt?"

"My belt?" he asked and I was about to laugh.

His next words did make me laugh.

"It's not too tight. Just the right kind of tightness."

I exploded in laughter and Markus placed his hand over my mouth. He was shaking as if he was trying not to laugh.

"He was asking for time." Markus said.

"Oh....Eleven fifty five." Br Michael answered then he walked away.

Markus led me to the stair case and when we were far enough, we broke down in muffled laughter that left our tummies aching.

When the laughter faded we made our way to the room. We were serious by the time we reached the room and I took a few seconds to look at Olive's door. It would just be like back home; our rooms opposite each other.

"It must be a serious case." Markus said when we entered the room and he had closed the door.

"What do you mean?" I asked not knowing what he was talking about.

"The whole thing of calling the priest to cleanse the room."

"Is it a ghost?"

It was headless I know. I just want to be sure.

"I don't know. I know they were different. The first boy was very vicious while the one tonight was playing with us."
