BEAT IT SISTER

Oliver's POV

I had noticed that Elise was down after our visit to the cornfield, some goes for Olive. Maybe they had a fight or something. Olive looked far better than Shorty who had been avoiding us all. When Olive confessed that she didn't know why Elise was avoiding I took it upon myself to cheer up Shorty. She wasn't expecting me so when I pushed her inside her own room she gasped in shock.

"You? What do you want?" she asked straightening her already straight dress.

Once I was sure that the door was closed and I had heard Olive's door open and close, I finally looked at Elise. She had taken her jacket off and she looked a little bit older than she did with it on. She sat down on the bed and I went to join her.

"I asked you a question. Since you are now sure your sister and Dupree aren't listening spill the beans." she said,"Face the wall."

"Why? Are you going to change while I'm here?" I asked smiling,"I actually don't mind."

Her cheeks turned a light pink and she made me turn my head forcefully. I heard her clothes start making a ruffling noise and I tried my best not to look so I started looking at what was on my side of the wall. Her wardrobe is here so how does she plan on getting her night gown with me looking this way.

"Close your eyes." she said,"And start explaining why you're here."

I listened to her and closed my eyes while smiling.

"Vee said you're avoiding her even though she wants to talk to you. I came to find out why."

"Why what?"

"Why you're avoiding me as well when your problem's with Vee? You hurt my feelings."

"What feelings?" she asked and I could tell she was standing close to the wardrobe.

The wardrobe opened and I opened my eyes as well. Damnit! She was in her dress.

"Gotcha." she said chuckling.

"We kissed so why can't I look at you?" I whined,"Aren't we like.....dating?"

She turned to look at me with bright pink cheeks. I got up from the bed and walked towards her and just when I was about to kiss her she slapped me.

"Ouch." I said calmly even though my cheek was burning.

"Go and sit back down. That won't work twice." she said crossing her arms.

"What happened to you two in the cornfield?" I asked getting to the point.

"Your sister has been seeing memories of my....past. She found a memory I hoped no one would find out so I was afraid."

"What were you so afraid of?" I asked placing my hand on her shoulder.

She moved away from me and I felt like she had ripped out my heart. She looked down at the floor so I moved back to give her the space she was silently craving.

"I fell in love with someone I shouldn't have. That's what she saw. His name was Oliver too."

I sat on the bed feeling sad. Was Elise only close to me because I shared a name with her lover? My eyes became teary and she noticed it as well.

"Do you still love him?" I asked.

She didn't answer my question and looked away. I got up feeling disheartened and I slowly walked to the door. I wiped away my tears and took a few deep breaths before opening the door as quietly as I could.

"Don't avoid the others because of me. Vee really wants to talk to you." I said and I walked out and closed the door.

I walked to Olive's door knowing that Markus was obviously with her but I just stood their for a little while so I could regain my composure. Elise's door opened and her light footsteps came up behind me.

"I don't love him anymore." she said in a whisper and it sounded like she had cried or was crying,"I don't stay around you because you bare his name either."

I didn't have anything to say to her and I couldn't bring myself to look at her.

"Won't you look at your girlfriend?" she asked in a whimper and my heart skipped a beat.

I quickly turned around to look down at her. Her eyes were moist with tears and even though the light was dim I could see that they were red. I smiled down at her and hugged her. I carried her in my arms and took her back to her room. I made her sit on the bed and kissed her forehead.

"So why were you being so dramatic earlier?" I asked her,"You even slapped me."

"I....I don't think Olive wants us to be together." she whispered and the lights went out.

It makes sense and it sounds exactly like Vee. Elise was shivering so I took her blanket and covered her.

"She doesn't have to know." I said and I internally questioned what I was saying.

Will I be able to lie to my sister? I've always wanted her to like whoever I like and up until now I told her everything. Elise cupped my face and I slowly looked at her.

"I almost screamed. Your eyes look creepy." I said honestly.

Her eyes looked like black gleaming pearls in the darkness; a sight straight from a horror movie.

"You're no better." she said seriously then she pulled down my face to kiss me.

I stayed a bit longer then I had to leave because it was getting late. Upon opening Olive's door I heard a loud thud which I know is Markus and Olive hiding. How clumsy.

"It's me." I whispered,"Quick reflexes but you fell with a kaboom."

There was no movement from them and I feared they might have knocked themselves out or maybe they didn't know my voice well enough to trust that it was me.

"Are you guys alive or do you think I'm a nun impersonating your brother?" I asked.

I finally saw them get up and Markus quickly came to me and we left together.

"What did you and Elise talk about?" Markus asked.

"No explanation. I won't tell." I answered smiling even though I wanted to cry earlier on.

"Who's that walking around at night?"

Sr Patronelle?! Markus and I run to the door and I cursed the loud echoing sound that we left behind and it was even worse when Markus slammed the door.

"Nice going mucho man." I hissed as we jumped onto the bed and covered ourselves I one movement. The old hag didn't hesitate to open our door and the fact that we had even covered our heads must have made her certain it was us who had made the noise. I don't know why but neither.arkus nor I closed our eyes and we just looked at the nun who had pulled the blanket off of us. She was holding an old fashioned lamp and she had her eyes widened.

"Boys in a girls' dormitorium?" she asked.

"We were told to stay here because we had been attacked in our own dorm." Markus said.

"Why were you walking around then?" she asked squinting her eyes.

"Bathroom. We needed the bathroom but we were afraid you'd be upset so we run back." I answered trying to act embarrassed,"You see we even put our uniforms back on to not look suspicious."

"You thought uniforms wouldn't look suspicious?" she asked and then chuckled,"How adorable."

As expected from a nun who went to a bar in a mini skirt. The last time she had called Markus and I she had prepared a feast for us and even offered us wine.

"Use the lamp and go. I'll wait right here." she said offering us the lamp.

I looked at Markus who had his face contorted to express disgust and I elbowed him before she could see it. I smiled at her and got up from the bed and so did Markus. Just as Markus was about to take the lamp from her, the flame was extinguished and then it reignited a second later. I heard Markus gasp and when I looked where he was looking there was a naked bloodied girl standing in the corner facing the wall. Sr Patronelle looked frightened by the girl and she was about to come hide behind us when the nude girl turned to look at her. Ms Heathers?! It really was her!

A strong gush of wind forced the window open and pushed Sr Patronelle to the door.

"Beat it Sister!" Junior Ms Heathers said in a deep voice with not a hint of feminity.

Sr Patronelle was pushed away in the direction of the stair case and it wasn't long before her scream was heard. I turned my eyes to look at Junior Heathers and she was already looking at me.

"Elise!" Markus and I screamed and we run to the door.

The door almost closed before I could escape but Markus held it for me and we both got out and went to Elise's room.
