ALONE IN THE DORM

When prep was over Elise and I returned to our dormitory where she escorted me into my room. It was a little uncomfortable but I couldn't chase her away right away.

"You can leave now. Thanks for bringing me back." I said smiling but she continued to stare at me.

She went to take a sit on my bed and removed her shoes and contemplatively looked out the window like it was her room.

"I don't want to leave right now. I want to ask you something; do you like it here?"

"Not so much." I said taking my shoes off.

Why was she asking me about it?

"What do you hate about it?"

"It's the rules and uniform I guess."

I watched as she watched me and it suddenly became very uncomfortable really quickly. I was hoping she would leave sometime soon but she didn't go from where she sat. After a while she finally got up, to my relief, put her shoes back on and wished me a good night saying that I shouldn't go to out of the room which is strange because it's still on school premises isn't it? What if I needed to pee?

"Don't forget what I just told you." she said standing by the door,"I ask that you stay here for your own good."

Elise left after saying those words and I remained watching the the door after she slammed it. I remained quiet as I was alone and looked at the window watching the sun set. I got up to change into my pyjamas and when I came back there was a girl sitting on my bed. The girl shares an alarming resemblance with my mom in her teenage years which I know from the photos I've seen of her when she was around that age. This is what happens in many horror movies and I won't make the mistake that they make by speaking to the unknown.

I sat on the bed as well and pretended that I hadn't seen her but then the girl turned to look at me and I become scared. This is the time I miss Oliver because I know he would make me feel comfortable even though I'm sweating like a pig. The more I tried to act like everything was alright the more I became aware of the girl that was staring at me. I felt her piercing eyes on me like sharpe double edged daggers but at the same time I felt sad because she looked like my mom.

Her hair looked like she had just washed it in muddy and slimy water and the strands of hair suck to every little bit of her exposed skin that was available. Her eyes were empty and dull which proved to me that this was a dead girl but why was she here? Was this her room? Her skin had several cuts and claw marks but coincidentally her uniform was intact and if my eyesight serves me right she had a badge on her blossom with the initials 'SRP' with another letter that had been scratched off. She looked like she was in pain and when she opened her mouth to speak the sounds that erupted form her were anything but words! It sounded like a thousand people all trying to speak at once in different languages making her words incoherent. I hugged my raised legs which I had no idea I had raised and when she or....they started screaming tears streamed out of my eyes and I buried my head in between my thighs and then I also screamed.

"...Eli....se!" the voices co-ordinatedly screamed in my ears and then silence.

After a good ten minutes I finally looked up and saw that the girl wasn't on the bed but on the ground; seemingly unconscious. I didn't think and just jolted off the bed with the pillow tightly pressed on my Bossom and run out of the room; to where? I don't know.

Elise had told me not to leave the room but I can't stay here with this girl or whatever she was; dead or alive. Can I go to Elise though? That girl had clearly said Elise's name so did it mean Elise was bad too? Nah! That's what the ghosts in the few horror movies I've watched do. Make you mistrust everyone so you go to them and they drag you into an abyss of everlasting torture. As you know I don't pray but right now it seemed logical and I started to mumble the Lord's Prayer to myself while perpetually looking behind me to see if the mother clone was on my tail.

Hold on. I don't know Elise's room number so how will I find her?! I forgot what comes after the 'give us this day our daily bread' so I started all over again. Then I realized something else....; why was the corridor suddenly longer and why did it feel like I was in the same place? I looked back at my room door and Alas! The mother clone was limping to me at a great speed. My mumbled prayer became a fully blown exorcism prayer in a mater of seconds and I was screaming at the top of my voice like I was crazy. Before I knew it I was tumbling down the stairs like a heavy sack of wheat flour. When I reached the bottom of the stairs case, upon impact, I was back in my room laying on my bed in my PJ's; sweating and gasping for air. I first looked around the room searching for any foreign humans or ghosts and I sighed in relief when there was nothing there except me. I'm glad it was all just a dream. I got up from the bed after walking a few steps and hearing a soft and nearly inaudible whimper I decided to go back to the bed. I hugged my pillow and pulled up the thick blanket up until my entire being was engulfed in the warmth of it.

I started saying the Lord's Prayer again but this time, luckily, I didn't forget. I said it about ten times and then finally I felt like it was safe to sleep again. When I closed my eyes I saw bright light and I knew I would be having a better dream after this. When it was morning I got up and wondered....where on earth is the shower! Will I have to bath with everyone else! I've never done that before with anyone let alone girls and it would definitely be weird but it's better than being in a bathroom alone and having to see another dead girl which I had a feeling I'd be doing again tonight. I walked out of my room gingerly, looking at the place where the dead girl had laid last night, and when I was outside the room I saw Elise walk out of her own room at the end of the corridor. So that's where her room is. I'll remember that next time I have a dream like that. It is the only room on that side of the building as the rooms around it are storage rooms for working equipment and it was strange. So did been a punisher mean that you have your own private areas? I won't be surprised if she has a personal bathroom with her name on the door. She didn't talk to me, let alone even look at me. I didn't mind after that ghost mentioned her I don't think I can trust her anymore and if that ghost is trying to get me into its palms then it's wrong; I have a brother who will do anything to protect me but I highly doubt he'll go against the ghost for that but I would like to think so.

"Good morning Elise." I said just to make sure nothing was awkward between us.

She glanced at me like she was not pleased with the fact that I had greeted her but she did reply that too in such a low voice that I don't think anyone else heard her greeting. They probably think she ignored me but I know better. Elise led the other girls and I to the common bathroom that was just nothing but an empty room with a series of prearranged coundrones of water filled to the brim. I started to mentally prepare myself for the torture that I had to go through; me seeing other girls naked and being aware that they were seeing me naked. Wasn't this lesbian?

"You have fifteen minutes to bath and eight minutes to get dressed and leave the dorms. The dorms while be locked after eight O'clock sharp so if you are found even so much as breathing the air circulating within the dorm premises I will deal with you personally. And believe it or not it won't be a pleasant dealing." Elise asserted while the other girls and I stood like we were in a military facility.
