Chapter 198: Exploring Part 1

"Hey, baby." Carter smiled at his daughter on the screen of Ariana's laptop.

"We miss you." Emily whined and Josh rushed over to stick his face into frame.

"I miss you guys more," Josh yelled, and Carter winced.

"We miss you two too. Been staying out of trouble?" Carter raised an eyebrow at the kids.

"Yes," Emily bounced in her chair.

"She's lying... she got in trouble yesterday because she broke one of grandma's vases." Josh ratted his sister out.

"Josh..." Emily scolded him and pouted.

"Did you tell grandma you were sorry?" Carter crossed his arms.

"I did," Emily defended herself, and Carter smiled.

"Then that's what matters. I'm sure it was an accident," Carter shrugged.

"She was running around trying to steal the tablet from me," Josh argued.

"You wouldn't share," Emily screamed.

"That's enough," Ariana walked up behind Carter and put on her mom voice.
