THE PRESENT
In the midst of the dimly lit room, my fingers danced across the keys of the grand piano, each note reverberating with memories of a time long ago. The rich, melodic sounds echoed through the air, a soothing balm to my restless thoughts.
He had bought this piano, the one, the exact one from the antique shop, I was shocked how he'd even found it. But he did. And I loved this piano when I was just a five year old, and I loved this piano now with all my heart. It was the second more fascinating thing I've ever seen. The first was Azriel's full smile which had seemed to disappear the night when he told me he had used me, manipulated me. And since then, there was no smile, not even a spark of his eyes.
