Four years had passed, and Zero had transformed into a young teenager. His appearance had matured, and he now stood tall with a strong, athletic build. His features were strikingly handsome, but it was his eyes that captured attention: intense, stern, and with a depth of wisdom that some found intimidating, even scary.
Zero was seated at the piano, his fingers gracefully dancing across the keys as he played Mozart's Requiem. The haunting melody filled the room, reflecting the elegance and complexity of his mind. The song was a fitting choice, capturing a mixture of joy and sorrow that resonated with his inner thoughts as he anticipated this new chapter in his life.
His father entered the room, momentarily entranced by the music before announcing, "Zero, it's almost time to leave for school."
Zero finished the piece and closed the piano lid, looking up at his father with a composed smile. "I'm ready, Dad."
They made their way to the car, and Zero's father could not help but glance at his son with a sense of pride and wonder. "I still can't believe how much you've grown, Zero. NSE Academy is lucky to have you."
"It's a new challenge, Dad, and I'm looking forward to it," Zero replied, his voice calm and confident.
As they drove, they discussed Zero's goals, his expectations for the academy, and the importance of maintaining his training routine. Zero's thoughts were also on his close friend, Mike, who would be joining him at NSE Academy. Their friendship had grown over the years, strengthened by shared interests and mutual respect.
Arriving at NSE Academy, they were greeted by the impressive sight of modern architecture and sprawling grounds. Students were milling about, some looking nervous, others excited.
Zero's father parked the car and turned to his son, his eyes filled with a mixture of pride and sentimentality. "You're going to do great things here, Zero. Just remember to be yourself and never lose sight of your dreams."
"Thank you, Dad. I'll make you proud," Zero responded, his eyes reflecting determination.
With a warm hug, Zero's father watched his son walk towards the entrance, where Mike was waiting.
"Zero! Over here!" Mike called, waving energetically.
"Mike" Zero greeted him, a genuine smile lighting up his face. They bumped fists, and Mike looked Zero up and down.
"You look like you mean business, Zero. That stern face of yours is going to scare the teachers!" Mike joked.
"I'm just focused," Zero replied, his tone light. "Ready for this new adventure?"
"Absolutely! Let's conquer NSE Academy together," Mike exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Zero's composed demeanor and insightful comments caught the attention of both students and teachers. His appearance might have been intimidating, but his intelligence and maturity quickly set him apart as someone to watch.
"This is going to be great, Zero," Mike said, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "We're going to learn so much and have a blast doing it."
"Yes, it will be an interesting year," Zero agreed, his mind already turning to the challenges and opportunities ahead.
They made their way to the entrance hall, where a throng of students had gathered. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation, and Zero's observant eyes took in the scene, his face a mask of cool composure.
Mike, on the other hand, was drawn to the front of the hall, where a group of students from the student council stood. One girl, in particular, caught his eye. Her hair was a striking shade of dark crimson red, flowing down her back in elegant waves. Her eyes, a deep and captivating blue, were framed by strong brows that hinted at a determined personality. Her face was stern yet beautiful, with fine features and an expression that radiated authority and intelligence. She was dressed impeccably in the student council uniform, and her posture was perfect, exuding confidence and grace.
She seemed to command attention effortlessly, and her presence filled the room, setting her apart from those around her. Every movement was deliberate and refined, and there was a sense of elegance and power about her that was impossible to ignore.
"There she is," Mike whispered, his eyes fixed on the girl. "The student council president. She's amazing, isn't she?"
Zero glanced in the direction Mike was pointing, taking in the sight without comment. His thoughts were elsewhere, and he remained silent, giving no indication of his own opinions.
The student council president stepped forward, her eyes scanning the crowd. Her voice rang out, clear and commanding, as she said, "Attention."
The room fell into immediate silence, every eye on her, every ear waiting for her words.
