The background noise faded as the rhythmic thudding of footsteps grew louder, signaling the approach of two individuals. Zero and his team looked up, spotting two figures headed their way: one was a veritable titan, whose imposing stature and bulging muscles seemed to challenge the very fabric of his academy uniform. By his side was another man, slightly shorter but with a presence that was equally commanding. His posture and gait exuded a sort of power that wasn't purely physical.

Kolson Griffin, the more slender of the two, paused a moment to assess the members of Zero's team before stepping forward, a half-smile playing on his lips. "Greetings," he began, his voice carrying a melodic but authoritative tone. "I'm Kolson Griffin and my colossal companion here," he said, chuckling lightly, "is Ares Clark. We are the representatives of Solstice Academy."

Ares stood out in any crowd, not just for his height which was a head taller than most, but for his built frame which was the result of countless gym sessions. He had a natural tan, hinting at many afternoons spent outdoors.

His hair was a simple buzz cut, practical and fuss-free, making his serious gray eyes even more prominent. Those eyes always seemed to be observing, calculating. A crooked nose suggested it might have met a few too many accidents, maybe during sports or roughhousing with friends.

While his academy uniform was the same as any other, on him, it seemed snug, especially around the arms. One could spot a small tattoo peeking from under the shirt sleeve — it looked like a lion, perhaps a personal symbol or a cherished memory.

Kolson, in comparison to Ares, had a more slender frame, but his confident posture spoke volumes of his self-assured nature. He was of average height, with a toned build hinting at regular runs or perhaps swimming sessions. His skin had the soft glow of someone who took care of it, and his chestnut hair was always combed neatly, away from his forehead.

What was most striking about Kolson were his eyes: a clear blue that always seemed to be thinking, always planning. His features were sharp but not intimidating — a straight nose, a sharp jawline, and a mouth that often tilted into a smirk.

He wore his academy uniform with a casual grace, making it look more like a choice than a mandate. There was also a silver pin on his collar, maybe a badge of honor or a simple accessory. When he spoke, his voice was calm and measured, reflecting a mind that was always a step ahead.

Zero, ever the diplomat, rose from his huddled position and extended his hand. "A pleasure. I'm Zero."

Kolson accepted the handshake, his grip firm but not challenging. "We thought it prudent to have a chat before the game starts," he said, eyes narrowing slightly as he scrutinized the members of Zero's team. "Solstice Academy has a particular way of operating. We excel when left to our devices, and we prefer minimal... interference."

Aurelia raised an eyebrow, her curiosity evident. "Interference? You mean collaboration, right? We're on the same team."

Ares, who had been silent till now, let out a deep chuckle. "Little lady, what he means is, while we might wear the same badge for this game, we fight our own battles. We suggest you do the same."

Mike, not one to be easily intimidated, shot back, "So you're suggesting we just stand back and watch?"

Kolson smirked, interjecting before Ares could reply. "Not at all. Just... ensure our paths don't cross too often. Let's agree on this: you have your strategy, and we have ours. If our paths do cross, we'll cooperate, but otherwise, it's every team for itself."

Zero met Kolson's smirk with one of his own, the confidence in his eyes unwavering. "Actually, I couldn't agree more. We had a similar idea in mind. We trust in our team's capabilities, as I'm sure you do yours. So let's make sure neither of us gets in the other's way."

Ares, trying to have the last word, added, "Just make sure you keep up. We're not in the mood for any setbacks."

Zero responded, a hint of amusement in his tone, "Don't worry about us. Just ensure your team doesn't slow us down."

As the two representatives from Solstice Academy departed, Mike murmured to the group, "Some pep talk they gave, huh?"

Clara rolled her eyes, her determination evident. "All talk. We'll show those jerks what we're made of on the field."

Orion snorted, "I've seen friendlier brick walls."

'orion'

'orion'

'orion'

Orion suddenly spoke, "hey guys.. ?"

before orion can continue, Aurelia cut in "nope, its not just you, Look" pointed her fingers on the crowd, and they see Liam holding a karaoke mic with speaker screaming his name. with the other fifth floor students

'Let's go, Orion!'

"I want to die" Orion covering his face.

in the meantime, Zero is looking on his quests list.

'Quest in progress: 7'

'they added two more quests' zero thought.
