"Sorry I am late ...."

That voice .

That voice turned lia into a stone . Her blood turned cold .

Aaxin Ming was standing there wearing a blue gown that barely covered her .

And the boy she was holding?

Was lia's first boyfriend Jared Tang .

Everyone turned towards the couple who had just arrived .

Everyone was startled .'How can someone just enter Kingston like that??'

The Host cleared his throat and spoke "Let's invite Ms Aaxin Ming And Mr Jared Tang who arrived just now and are the newly enrolled students ."

Everyone clapped. And Every boy's eyes were fixed at Aaxin and her body .

"Thank you for inviting us" Aaxin smiled sweetly , pretending like the school took a lot of efforts to invite them .

"I heard that the school has strict admission process so that NO UNNECESSARY PERSON CAN ENROLL " Arran yelled from the stage.

No one dared to say anything . The Rongs just declared the adopted daughter of the Lu's as it's rivals .

Aaxin smirked and walked down the stairs with her partner and walked towards the stage and stood in front of Arran and said "Hello Ms Rong it's my pleasure meeting you . I always wanted to meet you in person!!" Aaxin sported fake enthusiasm.

"I am sorry!!. The Rong are closed , we are not interested in meeting any undesirable adopted human " Arran faked her smile and walked towards Zack and dragged him towards unknown.

Meanwhile

Mike had an sulking expression. His aura turned dark and cold .

Anyone who saw him . Turned their faces somewhere in haste , Because they were terrified, when they saw him.

While on the other hand Lia, she kept staring towards Jared .

She still loved him.

Aaxin suppressed her anger and looked towards Lia . Her smile formed again.

"Lia !! oh my god !! you also study here??".

Aaxin questioned pretending to be shocked.

Lia snorted at her pretentious acting .

" Yeah I do study here. Well I think , I have told you about that right?? " covering her face in shock " oh my my ..... don't tell me that you followed me here!!"

Jared on the other hand , was shocked on seeing Lia he walked towards her and snatched her for a hug from mike's hand's.

"Oh I missed you Lilith, where were you?"

Lia couldn't gather the energy to push Jared away .

She couldn't forget the touch , the smell, the voice.

She couldn't forget Jared tang .

Mike at once jumped between them and pulled lia back and said "hey aren't we suppose to dance??" The crowd Immediately grabbed their partners and began dancing.

Making a Rong upset , maybe dangerous.

Making a Long upset , is Death.

Music played for another 15 minutes , Mike cracked jokes which made lia laugh and eventually she forgot about her ex.

on the other hand .

"You told me that lia and her mom went abroad " Jared questioned Aaxin.

Aaxin stiffed , she knew that this question was coming.

"I am sorry Jared , I didn't knew that lia was in this school , and she didn't contact me even ! after she came back from abroad."

Jared wavered "well.....I can sense that lia has changed..."

Aaxin made a pained expression and said " I don't know why she is so hostile towards me.... she not the old lia any more . I know that she hated me when I slept with you but she ignored the fact that we both were not in our right mind " Aaxin sobbed .

Truth ?

Aaxin deliberately added aphrodisiac in Jared's drink. And used a perfect timing so that lia could see that his boyfriend cheated on her best friend.

Aaxin always liked Jared not just because he was rich , but she loved the way he talked and the way he respected her .

Lilith was always given the 'popular' tag . And due to to this things worsened even more.

The host cleared his throat "now it's time for the interview .so all the participating girls go to the green room and wait for your call. And all the boys will wait for the further notice for their interview for the king's crown ." with this all the female population rushed towards the green room to grab the first seat.

Lia found Arran waving towards her as she patted the seat next to her .

" wow ... man your dress is so amazing!! " Arran whistled .

Lia blushed and said "Thank you"

"From where did you buy that dress ???"

"Oh! mike gave me .... honestly I forgot to ask him about its origin"

Arran smirked , she knew about lia's case . One day before the ball Mike dragged Arran and told her about the whole 'Lia's hatred towards LONG'S' matter and requested her to help him by hiding his identity.

Well if she was getting an island in return of this small favor ....

Well ,Who is she to say no?

They both sat and waited for their turn

"Lia Xi!" a women called lia's name .

"About time " lia muttered and waled towards the room .

Inside the room sat the Ex Queen , school head and few other members of the school . And two persons lia could instantly identify was . Arran's mother and Malia Long.

Her eyes flared . 'How can she be the member of the Queen's council.'

Malia didn't recognize her . It had been years since she saw her 'dead so called best friends sister'. Malia flashed lia a polite smile .

Lia ignored her smile and shifted her attention towards other members.

The ex queen looked up from lia's papers and her essay's and spoke .

"So Lia Xi . Shall we start ??"
