Chapter 209 PROM 3

A black arrived at the entrance of Alora High, which also held other very flashy cars. The students of Alora high were not ordinary students either, as each person came from prestigious homes and had an elite personality, the only people different from the rest in this school were the ones on scholarship.

The poor who luckily migrated to the school of rich people, who finally allied with this elite person to better their lives. Just like the popular saying 'Fake it till you make it. Elsa stepped out of the car in her blue floral dress into the ballroom where the ceremony was being held.

The ballroom was filled with different beautiful colors from different students, male and female. Her eyes glittered at the view, everyone looked so pretty, but she was confident they were not as pretty as she is. Liam complimented her, that is all she needs.

"Elsa, you look so beautiful." She met poppy's gaze, "You look good yourself."  "Have you seen Jesse around?" She hawked around trying to find Jesse but didn't see her among the crowd. "Yes, she excused herself to the bathroom earlier." Nodding at Poppy's words, Elsa found her way to the bathroom, since the event was yet to commence.

"Elsa." A knowledgeable voice came from behind, oscillating her head around Elsa met his gaze. Damien Rivals, she always knew she'd see him here, he appeared to be more calm and collective than the usual Damien. And above all that, he was stunning, "Damien." She called.

He just found out from his father that she was married to Mr. Black, and that nothing can be done to get her. Mr. Rival warned him to stay clear of the girl, saying no one touches the man's property. When Damien heard about Liam's death, he was more than happy but could not have access to her.

She was no longer in school and to crown it all, Claire told him she was getting married to Liam's younger brother. There was no access to her, even after begging his father to help him out promising to take over the company after college. A few months later he heard she was missing, at that point the return of Mr. Black was heard and now she's right before him.

He started at the beauty before him, there was great turmoil of emotions running through his mind at once. He's longed to see her for months even after she rejected him, he wished he would be there to protect her at her breaking point. At least to let her know how much he loves her.

Damien pulled her in for a hug, Elsa's eyes widened in surprise, she tried to break off, but couldn't. He hugged her firmly against her will, "Damien, Damien let me go." "Stay still let's just stay like this for some time, please." He placed his head on her shoulder sipping the air roughly. Damien tried to keep his emotions at bail, he's missed this one person so much.

He's tried to cut and kill whatever feelings he must have developed for her, but just could not. It felt like the more he's being rejected, the more madly he falls for her. This girl has done something to him that feels so puzzling, she's made him a fool countless times.

"Damien." Elsa struggled one last time with all the strength left in her to pull him off with a quick slap on his cheek. Anyone could record this and post it on the school blog, plus she's married and has made it clear to him about loving Liam. There was something called boundaries and Damien just crossed it.

"We're not friends Damien and will never be, don't cross boundaries." She stepped out of the bathroom back into the ballroom where the event began. At the same time, Damien Rivals was seen stepping out of the same bathroom, both people looked tensed like something just happened.

"Isn't that Damien walking put off the bathroom with Elsa?" Tina said to Florence, she knew her best friend after dumping the rest cause of how arrogant she behaves. Claire frowned, it was apparent Damien still liked Elsa, especially starting at her from time to time.

Claire felt hurt and betrayed, this was the reason she didn't want Elsa to attend prom, she knew she would steal the spotlight as usual. She does nothing but still gets noticed by everyone, everyone wanted to be friends with her. Claire hated to be the second option, her mother was right, Elsa deserves to die.

Even after getting married to Liam she still wouldn't let Damien go.

"Are you alright?" Jesse asked the girl who sat next to her. This is not her friend's usual self, Jesse knew something was wrong. "I'm done, it's nothing important." Elsa gave a reassuring smile. "Our graduation is in a week." Jesse chuckled lightly. "What's so funny about that? Elsa inquired. " No, it's just... We're here but have no date to prom. What are we going to tell our kids in the future?"

She went on to say, "We might not be the lead character in the world, but that doesn't mean we're not lead characters in our world." She smiled mildly. "I hope she gets the crown as prom queen since that has been her goal." Both girls stared at Claire who danced beautifully on the floor. The music was slow feeling the entire place with enchantment and deep romance.

"I know two beautiful ladies can't sit without any dance partner." A voice came from behind and they met his gaze, Antony and Daniel, another set of hot boys from Alora high. Elsa could not believe she's never talked to these guys even if they'd been in the same classroom for three whole years.

"We're single tonight," Jesse replied with a smile. "Let's just say we're in luck tonight, cause we're as single as any single thing you can find. May we do the honors?" They stretched their hands. Both girls gave a stare at each other.

It isn't a crime to get naughty just for one night. As if both girls could read their thought, they took hold of the hands and went to the dance floor.

.

"Liam crouched on his seat as he glanced at the documents before him, this wasn't good news, for the few months he's been away, his business has reduced more than half of what it used to be. " Mr. Barnes offered to help boss, but on his terms," Carlos said for his boss to raise his head at him. He seemed curious about what the man had offered.

"And what could that be?" Liam leaned back on his seat, to listen to what Carlos had to say, "He insisted that if you want hi help with the business, then you have to get married to his daughter." The beast raised a brow. This is the most foolish thing he's heard in his life, it's not like Mr. Barnes is the only man that can help, he's just the only person close by.

"What a sly man he is, helping his company skyrocket to a high position is not enough?" He said calmly. "I need a meeting with Ethan Anakin, he can handle this." He wondered why Carlos had gone to the Barnes in the first place. There were better options, he had business associates ready to render help.

How did he forget how corrupt and greedy the business world is? Barnes will need his help, they always need his help. "Yes sir, I'll do that right away." Carlos sauntered to the door but paused when his hands touched the handle.

He turned around to meet his master's gaze, "And the woman boss?" "Shut her up, just find a way to do that," Liam ordered and Carlos bowed before leaving. The last thing he wanted right now was to upset the man more than he already is.

Dax and Rafael did a terrible thing to him, not just killing him, but his businesses were on hold for a while when Elsa got missing. It was done according to his order, his little wife is meant to inherit his property if he dies, and if anything has to happen to her, his fortune should be donated to the orphanages.

His businesses and companies should be on hold and should no longer function. They did as told, and now he's back, it seems he has to start all over again. He let out a frustrating sigh, pouring his liquid into a glass before taking a sip. There's a way out of this, there's always a way.

Immediately his phone beeped and a message came to view, Liam clicked on the message, and shortly, photos of his little wife's activities came to view. Liam smiled, she looked delighted, happiness was evident on her face. This is the life he wanted to give her, slowly the smile fell when his eyes came to the last picture.

That boy, the one who gave him challenging looks, the one who never stopped staring at him, this boy made him scared. Not because he was afraid of, but because he didn't want to cause his death. He didn't know who and what to tell to keep off his wife, it angered him to see another man touch her.

Her father was not allowed to even touch her, not to think of a little boy. Liam could feel his blood boiling, "Maximus." He called the butler for the man to rush down to the study room. "Call Carlos, tell him to come back immediately." "Yes, master." The butler left quickly.

He had sent in his knights to escort and watch her shadowy, so as not to make her feel weird and tensed. It was only normal that they sent these pictures to him.
