Once Silika and Maralene were gone, Lex walked into the Valvania Palace guided by a few Gear Knights. He saw an older maid waiting for them when they reached the entrance.

She spoke as they got close. ''Young master Dawnstrider. Follow me.''

Lex nodded and entered the palace while following the maid. It took them ten minutes to reach the emperor's office. The woman knocked, and a loud voice was heard. ''Come in!''

The maid opened the door, and Lex entered to see Caspian sitting with three other men. He noticed that they all went quiet and were staring at him.

Caspian smiled and remarked when seeing him. ''Thanks for taking the potion to my sister-in-law. But now is not the time for that; Tila has gone missing alongside her soldiers, and the search parties have found nothing.''

''Where and when did she go missing?'' Lex asked.
