Do What You Must

The sisters saw a remarkably handsome boy with snow-white hair and bright red eyes, but the pointed ears caught their attention.

Kadie turned to the figure and asked. ''Is he an elf now? That's what he looks like to me.''

The cloaked figure chuckled before explaining to the two, "No, he's a vampire. They're a rare race here on Eldoria."

Their eyes widened when the two sisters heard this, but the figure wasn't done. ''You two will wake up in one of my shrines and be trained to fight by those there. You will have all your memories and experiences from this life. Now go forth and save the boy from his uncertain fate.''

After speaking, the figure waved its hand, and both women's worlds went dark. 

Kadie was the first to awaken as her eyes fluttered open. She found herself surrounded by a lush forest. The scent of wildflowers and damp earth filled the air, and sunlight filtered through the canopy above, casting shadows on the forest floor.
