Lex, sensing Silika's fear, shifted into high alert. His gaze intensified as he tracked the mysterious figure through the curtain of rain.
"What was that?" Silika whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and intrigue.
His alarm growing, Lex replied, "I don't know, but we can't ignore it. Something isn't right here."
A loud noise from above scared Silika, so she held onto him. Lex took out his weapons and called for Midnight, who quickly climbed up his body.
He turned towards the blue-haired girl and instructed, "Prepare your rifle and get in the corner of the room."
Silika nodded, grabbing her weapon and heading to a corner that would keep her safe if they attacked.
Midnight peeked out of his armor, meowing. Lex pulled her out and asked, "Can you keep Silika safe, girl? Things might get tough, and I don't want you hurt."
