"What are you doing here?" Ezekiel asked in a low tone. His face was void of any emotion. It had been such a long time that he hasn't talked to his direct family. Dravin was his half brother. Same father, different mother. They were not really on bad terms, and they weren't the besties either. Well, not anymore.
The people passing around were eyeing the three of them, especially the two brothers. One hybrid and the other a pure-blood royal vampire. Despite the two wearing rings to tone down their auras, the tension in the air did not dissipate.
"I'm here to do business." Dravin inserted his hands into his pockets, as the other was holding a briefcase. "Is that how you greet your brother that you haven't seen in ages? Say, almost a century. You could have visited us." There was bitterness in his tone. His face was in tight expression.
"I'm busy. And I'm not part of the Blood Court anymore."
