The next morning, Aarav found himself in Nagma's room. She sat on the bed while he sat splayed out on the chair. The sun flooded into the dull room, almost blindingly bright.

Nagma's white blouse reflected the light, almost making her look illuminated.

"This is long over due" she said," I have something to tell you"

"Okay..." He said, he had an idea of what it was... He hadn't been her best friend from so many years for no reason. The room was getting uncomfortably hot, the sun rays that fell in his hand began to burn slightly.

" I uh ... Well when ... When you and I went on a uh ..  Break.. " she said nearly stammering, scratching the side of her nose.

" Nagma... Just say it " he urged, brown eyes showing evident worry.

"...Its not a break anymore..." She said, looking straight at him, half expecting him to lash out. For a second she felt a lump in her throat that she pushed down forcefully.

"You're breaking up?" He asked in a small voice.
