The Start
Jack wakes up early as usual with a headache from getting hit. He sees that Hephaestus is already awake and working already. He was about to show her his scythe to see if she could improve it for him. This being one of the main reasons he wanted to join the familia. He thought if he joined Hephaestus would always take care of his armor and weapons needs. But then he thought about something else.
Walking up to Hephaestus Jack put a serious expression on his face. He then waited for her to look at him. As she looked up she was shocked as the impression she got from Jack was that he was a very nonchalant go with the flow kind of guy. So she also got serious as he said "Hephaestus I know that you only will truly accept someone if they forge you a master smith weapon for you to evaluate to truly be happy but I want you to know that I will find a way for you to be truly happy even without making that for you." Jack said this with confidence. As Jack always did like Hephaestus character in the anime. She was also more beautiful in person. Jack wanted to make her happy as he noticed that she looked sad and by her actions was lonely from both recent events of seeing her and the anime.
Hephaestus was in shock by this statement. Wondering how he could make such a claim. She knew he was right about only going to truly accept someone who made her a master weapon or armor. While she had her doubts she did want to encourage him to see what would happen as her curiosity was killing her. " I will wait to see what you do then. Though I can not imagine how you could say something like that with your clear knowledge about me." Hephaestus said slyly while also giving off a slight smirk happy about his bold statement.
Jack was about to say more but then Kyra reminded him about something. *I was going to tell you earlier but you already missed the event with Bell and Ais however you can still catch the part where he comes out the dungeon bloody* Jack hearing Kyra tell him this caused his mouth to drop open. Running out Jack left a confused Hephaestus telling her loudly "I will be back at some point I'm about to explore the dungeon to see how far I can go." Hephaestus hearing him ran out after him yelling "You better not die after making a statement to me like that!" Hephaestus was actually a little sad he was leaving but she didn't know why.
Jack rushes to the dungeon just in time to see Bell. He watches Bell run out of the dungeon in a happy mood after meeting his love interest Aiz. Jack knowing Bell was going to run to Eina stopped him real quick. "Hey kid." He said to Bell making Bell stop when he stopped. Jack bought two things
Through his system points and pulled them out of his Pokémon backpack. The two things he bought was a towel and a leather cowboy canteen that brings never ending water called Niagara.
When he pulled out both he dampened the towel with the water and handed it to Bell. "Hey I'm Jack you might want to clean yourself up before you go any farther." Bell realizing how he looked quickly took the towel and cleaned himself up. After he was done cleaning himself up. He looked over Jack and could tell he was strong. "Hey I'm Bell nice to meet you thanks for the towel." Bell tries to hand back the towel. Jack looming out the towel after Bell has used it "You can keep it." Looking at it with disdain.
"Listen I got to go but let's talk again when I'm out the dungeon." Jack said leaving Bell standing there. Bell was thinking he might be a good friend.
Jack starts making his way to the dungeon. There were some guild workers there trying to stop him. They saw that he was new and were trying to warn him about the dangers of the dungeon or at least give him a map. Jack just kept walking as he made his way into the dungeon making sure there was no one around he pulled out his scythe from his backpack. Once the scythe was out he put it on his back as he always does walking with it and both arms went over the scythe. Thinking about it Jack ended up deciding only to go down a few levels so he could make it back up in time to be at the hostess of fertility with Bell.
The first 4 levels are easy for Jack as he only runs into goblins which he is very experienced with. Then he also runs in to Kobolds which are dog like creatures. Then the only other monster he saw was a dungeon lizard. They were all easy for Jack with his own style of fighting. (Think of a mix of juuzou suyuya from Tokyo ghoul and maka from soul eater.) Jack started to head back up the dungeon when he got out he saw it was getting late. He started to make his way to the hostess of fertility. Right at the entrance Jack runs into Bell. Bell greets him happily an asks Jack to join him. Obviously Jack accepts as he wanted to talk to him anyways. Bell walks in first and is greeted and introduced to Syr Flova and then Jack walks in greeted by Chloe Rollo. They both say their names back and say that they are actually together. Chloe was a cat person with black ears and tail and she had green eyes. Syr was a regular human with light gray hair that matched her eyes. Seeing that they were actually together Syr and Chloe started to argue a bit of who should take care of them. Jack stepped in and said "why don't both of you, I think Chloe is cute and I'm sure Bell thinks you are cute as well Syr. Hearing this Chloe blushes as she likes younger men she is 21. ( In danmachi people are adults at 14 and Jack is 16 technically 18 so it's fine.) Syr looked at Bell with a sly look "Do you think so Bell?" Bell being nervous and closing his eyes and crossing his hands said "Yes you are" while looking away. Seeing this Syr started to laugh "Okay Chloe I think we can both take care of them." Chloe nodded in agreement stating at Jack.
This did not go unnoticed by Jack and he was happy about it. Jack always like Chloe and wish she had more screen time in the anime. As they both tell Jack and Bell to follow them. "Wait" Jack said causing both the females to turn around. "Which table is for the Loki familia today. Both Chloe and Syr point over at a table and say "other there." Jack having an idea "We will take that one." Both then we're confused and said they can not as it was reserved. Jack took out a pouch of money from his backpack for 100,000 Valis. He then handed to Chloe and said "Can I have it now." With a smirk that mad Chloes interest peak. "I don't see why not" Chloe said tossing the money to Mia Grand who gave a thumbs up and yelled " If the Loki familia get pissed it's not my problem!" Jack nodded and said back "Don't worry I don't think they will be able to complain much." Jack did not even care about the 100,000 Valis as he made that much just from his dungeon dive today as he cleared whole floors by himself on the way down an up.
