"It's okay, Zert," James said as he then looks at ravan to continue with his question.

This completely baffled ravan and his subordinates. " tell me sir ravan, is this barrier a boon for us or a curse " James asked.

" This is a boon sir James, I don't understand why calling such a barrier that protects us from the outer force as a curse, " ravan said and his subordinates nod too.

" sigh, yes it certainly does protect us and I used to believe that too but what if I tell you that this barrier is not a boon but a curse," James asked to which ravan look at him. In ravan's mind, various thoughts kept on rising.

He remembered the words of Kansa that this barrier is created to protect them so how it is a curse and why would a demon king like Kansa who sacrifices his life to create this barrier and bring all of his kind inside it will curse them?

" on what basis are you telling me this sir James, " ravan asked as he didn't like that James is indirectly disrespecting Kansa who had sacrificed his life for his people. Ravan had great respect for him and for his work though he hate him for bringing him here the way he did but as a man he respects him.

Listening to him James then nods to one of his female subordinates whose name is Jenny. She then takes out a black box and a small crystal ball and put them on the table. Ravan and his subordinate use their scan to know what things are taken out.

" It's a herb that is used in making the potion called the minor healing potion " ayur said to which hades said, " oh, those small vile of liquid that you created and heal our wounds".

" you created the potions by yourself, " Jenny asked to which ayur nodded.

"amazing but where did you find the herbs? It rare to find it here as it does not grow in this continent " she asked again.

" I didn't use the life herb I used the alternate herb " he then took out a herb from his pocket and place it on the table. " this herb is called 'Vida' and I found it in one of the mines occupied by the katur tribe. I will show you the place".

" thank you, you didn't know how much this will bring a revolution in the alchemy industry. What is the life force value of this herb" jenny asked as she became very excited about this new revolution.

"I don't know what is the life force value but it can help me to create grade uncommon healing potions," ayur said.

" my god, uncommon grade this is great let me see the life value " she then takes the Vida herb and put it on the evaluation ball. The herb went inside the ball and then the ball started glowing with different runes. After a few minutes, it shows the image of the number which is '50'.

" Wow, it has a life force value of 50.

This is so good haha, we will be rich if we somehow capture the outside Industry " jenny started saying excitedly.

James and his subordinates sigh at her antics. She had a great passion for alchemy and now that she had found something so good she just can't get over it. " jenny can we focus on the topics now? I am sure we can decide that later ".

Jenny then embarrassingly clam down and clear her throat as she starts saying " the life force value of the 'Life herb ' is 200 outside of this continent and also of the herb in this box. I'll show you ".

She then places the ball on the box which radiates the same runes and projects the number '200' to which all nod but then she says " but when we take this herb out and place it inside this continent and leave it for few seconds like this ".

After a few seconds, she picks the herb and places it on the ball. The ball then start starts projecting the number which first says '200' . " everything looks normal to me " hades said to which everyone nods except for James and his subordinates.

" please wait for a few minutes," jenny said that they wait. Suddenly the number '200' went down to '150'. Ayur became shocked as he stand up from his seat. Seeing his reaction ravan and others became serious as something which makes ayur so scared and shocked must be very dangerous.

" H...How is this possible? This...This is bad very bad " Ayur said as James and his subordinates closed their eyes and nodded. Ravan became more confused as he was about to ask ayur for an explanation but they all look at the herb which now went from '150' to '100'.

"Ayur explains what is happening and why the life force of the herb is declining this rapidly," Ravan asked.

"our majesty, this is very bad the life herb is known for there excellent life energy. Which is converted into a life potion the abnormalities here are the declining rate of life force. it's is very fast and in just a few minutes, this life herb will turn into an ordinary herb with no healing properties " ayur said.

" and the question here is not about the life herb but about us, we all have a life force and this barrier is sucking that force to keep it alive. We all are acting like fuel to it. In other words " before ayur could complete James said.

" a parasite. Yes but that was one of the reasons the other reason is that this barrier absorbs the brahm energy too. Though not of stage -2 or below yodha but of the higher stages yodha that is why this continent has no stage -3 beasts or yodha " James said dropping another ball of surprise on everyone.

" But it is protecting us, right? " Horton said to which James said " it is protecting us but at what cost? The records said that the barrier has now left only five years of energy to sustain it. Now it's feeding on these poor souls we yodha have the time to protect us but they can't. Once the energy of the barrier will over it will destroy everything under it ." James said in a grave voice.

Everyone in the room became tensed and worried about this. " this is bad.

So that is why you said it is a curse as well as a boon " hades asked to which James nodded.

" everything in the world works on the principles of give and take. So this barrier is giving us its protection and taking our life force as a charge of it " jenny said.

Ravan then close his eyes for a few minutes, processing each piece of information in his mind, and then said " if you know this much and I am guessing that you also know how to undo it. Am I right?"

"yes, I do know how to undo this barrier that is my main business for coming here and making a contact with you. " James said, " but can we continue this tomorrow morning I am getting sleepy and you do need some rest. We can't hurry things upright ".

Ravan sighs as he needs some rest from both psychical as well as mental pain he had gone through this day. So he announces the end of the meeting and everyone goes to rest .
