Chapter 24 – The Story of the Monsters and Demon King

Later that night they decided to rest by a lake with some trees and bushes by the side. The men were not tired by decided to do maintenance on their equipment. Ender had said he was going to go for a walk by the lake shore alone. Some of the men thought it was due to seeing the sight of the monsters' destruction and needed to relieve his stomach. Almost all kids did so at first like a rite of passage.

Ender was not throwing up. Currently as he walked ender was pushing his ether to create a slight gravity field within his body. Not to lighten but induce a heavier gravity force. Ender was slowly able to effect the things he touched and himself with gravity force. If we would say normal gravity was 1 g then what Ender could effect was 1.5 g. The reason he could not effect the outside world and anything he was not touching was due to him being low leveled. Additionally, Ender wanted to be low-key so the only type of training he could do currently was gravity training and ether cultivation.

With the last couple days as influence Ender felt that he could reach Pinnacle Black if he pushed himself slightly. Ender also thought of and idea if he could use the gravity magic to help with breakthrough by using the magic to pull the slight magic explosion towards himself. The explosion would hurt him internally but he should be able to handle the explosion if he used the Demon King's Body at the last moment.

Having thought he walked far enough and close to the lake Ender found a tree stump to sit on. Ender began moving the ether in his body to use gravity to keep the ether internally and break through. Ender started with slow and steady rotations before gradually increasing speed. The speed only continued to accelerate as Ender tried to keep the two activities going. However like a pop, the ether in his body changed to Pinnacle Black core. The excess energy tried to be released however Ender used the Gravity energy on his body trying to force the ether inside so that he could slowly release the ether out.

However just as he was going to transform into he Demon King's Body some rustling could be heard from behind him as a soft voice entered his ears, "Ender."

That voice was of the princess of the beast-man kingdom Scarlet. Scarlet continued, "Ender are you okay?"

Ender having stopped his transformation but continued to use gravity energy to keep the ether from exploding and hurting Scarlet. Gritting his teeth while trying to sound normal Ender responded, "I am fine."

Scarlet continued to probe, "But you sound sick." Stepping forward Scarlet further asked, "Is it about to day and those monsters? Did you get sick from seeing all the fighting? I have yet to see as much fighting as that but I have seen some. We can talk about it if you want."

Ender did not turn around but shook his head while saying, "I am fine. I just need some time. I will be back soon. Go on."

Scarlet saw that Ender was trying to push her back. Thinking that Ender just needed some time to adjust himself like she did herself Scarlet turned around to leave. But just as she was going to leave Ender asked, "Would you like to hear a story? But you have to promise not to get closer and leave to the procession when the story ends."

Scarlet thought for a while before agreeing, "Mn, please tell me a story."

Ender looked at the lake before as the full moon shone on the lake. Ender began, "This could be of the history of monsters. This story came from some passing stranger that said came from some monsters when they spoke of their history. Back in the First Holy War when all the complex creatures gods were killed it was rumored that they were not completely killed. Some say that the consciousness or the souls were just fractured. Their powers were just stripped and their souls were kept in check but after eons they faded into death."

"However, this was a lie to everyone. The gods did not die but combined into one. One soul that only wanted to perfect creation themselves. The strongest influence was of the weakest complex creatures when that one soul was created. Later that one soul slowly evaporated his soul to infect the more passionate gods. These gods soon took their time to acquire power by influencing the creatures of the world. The ones that could be easily manipulated. The ones that felt the most blessed to have survived the First Holy War. The ones that were the weakest. They told the to rapidly reproduce and drive the other creatures out of the territory slowly at first then in one push towards the end."

"They chose Heroes so that they hurry the process. These Heroes were also to fight some champions of the creatures and a king that was doing his best to protect him. The king wanting to protect his subject new and old decided to tell them to run west. If he did not return to do their best to fight for their life. He would do his best. The king tried to talk sense to the Heroes but they said that the gods were absolute. The king failed to do so and the Heroes went after his subject. At this point story ends from my memories."

Scarlet was confused why Ender decided to tell this story but before she could ask Ender asked one question before asking her to leave. "Do you think that these monsters everyone fears are those subjects of the king and they just want their rights back to their land back? Think about this. My story has end so I will be back in another 5 minutes."

Scarlet opened and closed her mouth a couple times trying to find an answer before just agreeing to think of his story and why he told her hat story.

Ender did not move. Not that he wanted but if he did Ender thought that Scarlet would see his body. Ender had his body covered in blood all over. The skin on his hands, feet, near, and his stomach and heart had ruptured as he poured blood. His head all openings were bleeding as well. The blood had slowly stopped as the excess energy had been released allowing him to finish his story if just barely.

Looking at the lake Ender stood up once he deemed himself fit. I should clean myself before regrouping or the girls will have a heart attack. Having stripped cleaned himself and his clothes. Using the spell cleanse Ender created one day Millie got mad and told him to clean the entire house. Ender and his clothes were cleaned spot less. Ender was about to step out to dry himself and his clothes with his wind attribute when he heard some rustling. This time Sarah and Scarlet came through the brush.

Sarah could be heard, "I think you should wait young miss Scarlet. The boy Ender should be fine."

Scarlet replied, "But it has already been 15 minutes. I am worried."

"Is that why you dragged me along?" Sarah questioned.

"But he told me not to come. But if I said you were worried it should be fine," Scarlet chimed.

The two had just exited the brush when they both saw an Ender currently in the lake from the waist up. Nothing below could be seen but the two were stunned. Ender was also stunned. The two girls screamed slightly covering their eyes. But even without this Demon King's Eyes Ender could see that their hands had holes and their eyes were opened. Sarah was always with Scarlet so seeing the opposite was less likely then thought to be. Additionally, her conversation with Millie also could be heard from time to time in her head about Millie being okay with older women. Thinking that he may make a potential husband once he grew up a bit more wanted to look. While Scarlet had Ender for a friend and was getting curious of boys. The boy Ender while young was still muscular and handsome.

Ender was fuming internally from this the situation he was in. What where in life did he go wrong? Ender having had enough grabbed his still wet clothes before balling them up and using ether in his arms. Throwing the balled-up clothes he aimed at their face so it would not hurt and just land while yelling, "Perverts go away. I think you have seen enough."

Having woken up from the their stupor the two girls quickly left red faced. After they left Ender came out to pick his clothes and returned to the lake, "Dang perverts. Now I have to clean my clothes again."
