The time has come.

Later in the afternoon, after telling mom about most of the important events in my life, about my death, about Laria and Amaria, and how my system works, I waited for her response.

She stood up before coming to my side and giving me a crushing hug.

"My poor child, you've struggle long enough, you can depend on mommy to take care of you from now on."

Although surprised, I hugged her back and waited for her to calm herself down.

"Its alright mother, if there was anything I hated from my past life, it was not being there for Laria on her deathbed, but other than that, I never resented the life I lived."

"You are such a strong child, or should I say a man? I mean, you still have to grow up again."

She said while holding in her laughter.

"Ok, child predator." I replied back with a snicker.

"Thats different, you are technically the first male I have ever been fond of in my last 23 years of life, you should feel lucky you were born my child, or else you would never have a chance to be with me." She said with a proud smile while puffing her chest out.

"Really? Then what do you think of my father? Surely you still hold some feelings for him even after all this time."

She looked at me with a calm expression before saying,

"I used to love your father, but I can't continue to hold feelings for a man who didn't even visit me once after my arrival to this world, I can understand if he couldn't come personally, but sure he could have sent a letter, visited me in a dream, or send someone to tell anything about him. But nothing, having you is something I would never regret, but I need to let go of the past to leave room for my future."

I stayed silent to that, I had no opinion on her matter cause It was something I had no knowledge about, but I could lend an ear to help ease her burdens.

"So, I understand you need, or more specifically, want to be with a lot of women, but that still doesn't answer MY question, will you go out with?"

"No" I replied without hesitation.

"Why? You said you didn't care about norms, so why no." She looked pissed, but I remained calm.

"I don't want to go out with you, but if you want the reason why, then you have to wait until your birthday." I started to stand up from the couch, there were a couple of things I wanted to do before her birthday came around.

Although she started to get really mad at me, she took a deep breath to calm herself before asking,

"Where are you going?"

"The time has come for me to go pick up Amaria, I told her there were many thing I wanted to do with her, and I don't want the lovely lady waiting for me in that isolated place."
