The Crimson Key?

10:00am Monday morning, I rose out of bed to find my room had been completely destroyed the only thing left standing was the cold hard bed I had been sleeping on. I was In utter shock and felt a seething burst of rage building within me at the sorry sight of my once picturesque room. The funny thing though apparently I was the only affected one in the complex and no one else woke up to find their room totalled, as I was in contempt wondering how this happened I noticed a red glimmer out of the corner of my eye. You see, I was a typical introvert and hated standing out so I had never owned anything with bright colours.

As I went to the source of the red shimmer I had found that it was a key. Now with more question than answers I realised I still hadn't dressed myself up yet I was also in the predicament of every item of clothing I had was destroyed alongside the room. Luckily I atleast had pants and a coat hanging by the sofa in the front room so I could atleast go purchase more without going out stark naked.

Yet for some reason my mind kept thinking about the crimson key lying in the middle of a destroyed room rather than what caused it to be destroyed in the first place.

It was then I felt it the reason why I was so attracted to this key, it looked the exact same as the one left by my mother and father before I had been abandoned in an orphanage as a child. What was truly confusing however was the fact that the key had been lost ever since the day I was unfortunate enough to run into bullies at preschool. Even though my mind was racing at the possible outcomes of how this key returned to me I soon understood something very significant at the moment. My stomach was rumbling due to not having eaten since last night after college my first thought was to go whip up a quick breakfast for myself.

Thankfully I had some leftover sausages and bacon in the fridge so I quickly whipped up some eggs to serve on the side with toast and had the leftovers for breakfast. However just as I was about to dig in my mind flashed and after 10 seconds of excruciating pain it appeared. The crimson key was floating infront of me like it was an untouchable entity, it's glimmer and shine proving how well polished it was. Just as I had reached out to grab the key a mental command was issued to my head preventing any further movement. As I was stuck in limbo I was inwardly terrified wondering what magical forces are behind this key and why did I feel such a strong connection towards it. Just as I was wondering if some supernatural entities were going to end my life, BOOM! The key suddenly violently shook creating a miniscule earthquake in the dining room leaving me feeling horrified at still not being able to move a muscle whilst this earthquake continues. Right at the moment i was about to lose all hope the key flew towards me and entered my body and in the depths of my mind I heard a voice, "Thou Hath Been Chosen, Thou Is The True Descendant Of The Cardinal Rulers, Thou Will Now Leave This Mundane World, And Be Transmigrated Into A World, Where Thou Shall Conquer And Discover The Truths, And Ideals In This World Full Of Deceit And Lies".

Just what the hell is going on here, what is that key and what is the truth of this world? These, were my final thoughts before I had begun to fall into a deep trance…
