“Darkness’ Fear”

Aku's body transformed from his monstrous one back to human, as he stretched his arms.

"I was left to die by Rook, but.. I saw something, someone.. I made a contract with them to save my life.."

He raised his hand, transforming his arm to it's monstrous form. Evan got back up as he kneeled down to Morell, shaking her shoulder, the others approaching.

"It seems the evilness has left her.. she's back to how she was."

They all slightly smiled, as Nico lifted her up, she wouldn't wake up, though life could be felt. Nico sighed and put her back down.

"Evan, you stay here with her.. Aku follow me."

Nico unsheathed his sword, as did Aku, the two walking forth. In the distance a surge of power could be seen in the sky, all coming from the dark figure.

"This is the end, the finale. We're determining life or death for everyone here now.."

The two arrived at where the dark figure floated, charging up it's dark energy. They stood, glaring up with determination on their face, as Nico raided his pistol up.

"3.. 2… 1."

He fired the bullet, as near instantly the dark figure came down, a large blade of darkness formed as the three clashed.

"Give up..!"

The dark figure laughed as it delivered an insanely fast barrage of slashes, the two struggling to keep up. The figure formed clones of themselves, slashes coming from all sides.

As Nico turned, her purposely had one slash his second sword, causing it to fling out of it's sheath. He caught it, now wielding his two swords as his ring of sound glowed, his body vibrating to increase speed.

"Duck..!"

Nico shouted, Aku quickly crouching down as Nico began swinging both his swords in all directions at speeds even faster then the figures, eventually causing them to miss their clash, Nico's attacks making them disappear.

"Seems I'll have to try..!"

The original figure quickly flew back in the air, Aku standing back up as they readied for the next attack. The figure raised their arm, charging a giant orb of dark energy before throwing it down.

"Wait.. Shit..! Get out of the way..!"

Nico and Aku's eyes widened as they ran off, attempting to avoid the orb, though it was too late, the attack nearing as they both ducked, closing their eyes in lack of hope.

"Behold.."

A voice was heard, Nico and Aku opening their eyes, looking around in confusion.

"Excalibur!"

A young man stood forth between the teo of them, raising his sword. As the orb approached, it was suddenly stopped in place by the sword. The orb's energy began getting absorbed into the sword at high speeds.

Nico and Aku got up, looking up to the figure, none other then Bennett, their eyes widened as the orb was completely absorbed.

Bennett looked back at them, grinning. In his hand he held the sword of the chosen one, Excalibur.

"I guess being a British merchant has it's perks."

Nico and Aku got back up, smilest to his return. Bennett aimed his sword to the figure, firing the energy he'd consume off as a beam.

The figure held their hand out, blocking the beam as if it were nothing, slowly floating down towards the three, their free hand becoming that of giant claws.

The beam ended as the figure was now in front of them, chuckling to themselves.

"Well look at this.. 3 little swordsman, all fated to death. What's you plan to accomplish from this..?"

The figure said, holding their hand up. The three were confused as nothing was happening, before looking up, millions and millions of portals forming in the sky.

"Besides your end."

Spears began firing out of the portals, flying through the air before all circling around them all, Aku looking around before holding up his fist.

Aku's ring glowed blue as a giant, dark blue demonic eye formed over his shoulder, connected by a tendril to his arm.

"Buy me time."

The two nodded, spears beginning to fire towards them as they blocked each one. Aku's eye looked around frantically, it's glowing blue iris beginning to deform.

The iris began to change into the pattern of a clock. The outline and hands formed in a glowing blue color, before suddenly time began to slow down, before halting entirely.

"I'll end this in one hit..!"

Aku shouted, using the frozen time to dash past the spears and making his way to the figure before piercing his blade into their heart.

Time returned as Aku then dragged his blade upwards, slicing their upper body in half, the two sides hanging to the sides.

"There, finished."

Nico and Bennett approached, smiling as all the spears fell to the ground, the sky's portals disapearing.

"That felt.. too easy, though."

Aku muttered, as they poked the figure, though it was merely disappearing. Their eyes widened as they looked past it, the real figure running towards Evan and Morell.

"Shit.. Get them.!"

They all began chasing after the figure, who was readying to kill Evan and Morell both. The figure looked back at the three, realizing them catching up before laughing, appearing in front of Evan and Morell instantly.

"I win."

The figure laughed, firming a purple blast out their hand, Evan covering his head in fear. Morell gasped, breathing heavily before getting up in an instant, blocking the blast with her bare hand.

"What..!? How could you.."

The figure muttered. Morell glared at them with a face of hatred, beginning to raise her knife, the blade cloating in darkness.

"You took over my body.. You got my friends hurt.. All for me to watch."

The figure seemed scared of Morell, almost doubting their ability against her, as Morell placed her knife to their neck, smiling.

"oh, I won't kill you, or anything. I'll just, make you wish I did.."

Nico, Aku and Bennett aproached, surprised to Morell's return as the figure began flying off, away from Morell.

"Get away..!!!"

Morell's hand raised as her body incased in darkness, a menacing aura formed around her. She began to giggle, almost mocking how the figure acting when they were in control.

"What's wrong..? Do you fear God..?"
