14. Abusing Kirana

"Your mother must be hospitalized. She is depressed and mentally disturbed!" said the doctor in front of Kirana.

Not an ordinary hospital the doctor was referring to. Ratih must be admitted to a mental hospital. The woman kept screaming and giggling. She can suddenly rage and cry and sometimes hurt herself and even those around her.

Kirana looks at her mother with a broken heart. After being left by her father for good, now she must lose her mother figure. Although his body is still in the world, now her mother's world is different. Now Kirana alone faces dark days. She holds her stomach and cries more and more sadly.

Fortunately, during pregnancy, Kirana did not feel the least bit tormented or nauseous like pregnant women in general. As if the baby understands all the trials of life that occurred.

Today is Kirana's last day staying at her house, and she must leave the house soon. She had sold the car and rented a modest home for herself. She was already planning to apply for a job to cover her living expenses.

"Are you sure you don't want to accept my help?" Zayn asked as he helped load things into the car. He offered Kirana to live in one of his apartments.

"No, thank you! You've helped me a lot, and I've already paid the rent for the next six months," Kirana replied. She does not want and is indebted to others.

"If you need anything, just tell me!" Zayn offered. He didn't want to force his will. The most important thing for him was to make Kirana feel comfortable.

Zayn had offered Kirana a job at one of the companies, but again Kirana turned it down.

"Have you got a job offer yet?" Zayn asked.

"Not yet, but I've already sent job applications to several places."

"If you don't get a job, you can take my offer if you want."

"Okay, thank you very much!" Kirana replied with a smile.

Zayn was mesmerized by that smile, which was rarely seen on Kirana's face since they first met. Even now, her smile is still forced.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something wrong with me?" Kirana asked as Zayn looked at her.

"You're beautiful when you smile. You should smile more from now on!" Zain said.

Kirana frowned, hearing praise from Zayn. That sounds ridiculous, just like Adrian's praise of her. She began to fortify herself so that her feelings would not soar.

"All women are beautiful when they smile, and I think every man says that to every woman," Kirana said.

"You think I do."

Kira shrugged her shoulders. "Possible."

"Just because a guy has let you down, you can't look at all guys the same way," Zayn said.

Zayn grew up without a father, and his mother became the victim of an irresponsible man towards his wife and child. He appreciates and respects his mother, who has struggled to raise him alone.

Kirana just kept silent and didn't comment anymore. After a while, they arrived at a small house. Zayn helps unload and helps Kirana's luggage late into the night.

When Kirana had just finished tidying up, Kirana got a message. "I got a call for work tomorrow. They need an office girl," said Kirana.

"Office girl? But you're pregnant."

"So what? I can do it. My baby isn't fussy. I'm just a high school graduate, and I haven't graduated college yet. I don't have high expectations." She doubted whether she could continue her studies after the baby was born.

"Work at my place! It's not that hard. You only to sit down and check the reports."

"No, Zayn! I'm looking for experience. All my life to be so comfortable and relaxed until problems hit me. I'm not strong enough to deal with it."

"What is the address where you work?" Zayn no can compel. Kirana then gave the address listed on her cellphone.

The next day, Kirana left so excitedly. She departed by public bus, this is a new thing for Kirana, but she will have to get used to it.

"Excuse me, ma'am! I'm Kirana. Last night I got a massage to work here as an Office girl." Kirana greeted a middle-aged woman named Widia.

"Oh, you've come. Come with me!"

"Okay!"

Widia tells Kirana's task is to clean every room on the third and fourth floors. She also has to provide drinks at certain times. Kirana no herself, there are already two other employees.

"This is your new uniform. Change quickly!" Widia reigns.

Kirana immediately changed her clothes to the office girl uniform that Widia had given her. Even though Kirana has transformed into the same uniform as other office girls, Kirana is still the most prominent among them. "Are you a rich person? You don't seem worthy to wear this uniform. You are more worthy of being our boss's wife," said one of the office girls.

Kirana is just smiling. They then started working on their respective tasks. Kirana took a vacuum cleaner and a rag in hand, items that Kirana had touched less so far.

Meanwhile, Zayn is with Sarita in the car going somewhere to attend a meeting.

"Is it okay to let her work there?" asked Sarita when Zayn told her about Kirana.

"There's nothing I can do, and she refuses my offer. For now, just let!" Zayn replied.

"Well, if that's what she wants. We'll go there and accept the contract they're offering. We can indirectly keep an eye on her."

"I leave that to you, Mom!" Zain replied. He looked out the window, still worried about Kirana in her new place.

"Sure, I will take care of it. I want to get Kirana to be beside us," concluded Sarita.

Zayn remembers returning with his original goal of approaching Kirana and all that was planned with his mother. He hesitated and began to ask himself. Is he currently abusing Kirana?
