The Return of the Exiled SSS-grade Necromancer

Kill or be killed. The gods sent 5 exiles from each world to compete for power in the Academia - the otherworld Academy for the EXILES. Alab, with nothing but repressed emotions and tragic recollections on Earth, was forced into the battle of the fittest. He struggled and strategized his way to greater heights. In his venture for power, he married with death in exchange for the forbidden art of necromancy - the power that could even kill the creator of all - the ABSOLUTE ONE. He kissed fallacy and mockeries, all for greater power. But, there was a shortcoming. The necromancy skill that was rumored to be the strongest was weeded out of its prime. It is now degraded to the weakest E-grade. Little did fate know that Alab has awakened an SSS-grade unique skill that could upgrade the skills' level. Just when he thought that everything was going his way, his feet were pinned to the ground as he couldn't escape the creeping shadow of his past that was restless in spawning challenges. Things got crazier as the exiles learned of the current state of their planet. What would the exiles do when they discover that the planets that once ousted them, were now on the verge of destruction? Will these exiles choose to forget the fire of hate or will they add fuel to the scorching demise with the very hands exiled by their fellow citizens? Witness Alab and his fellow exiles as he battled adversities. On his side lurked his loyal army of undead. ----- Disclaimer: The art on the cover is not mine, if the owner wants it gone, please tell me. MOCK OPPONENT

"Ehh? A young demon?"

Lolita had an average frame. She was not too tall nor small but in the face of bulky ogres, Lolita paled in comparison.

Tapping her heels on the floor, walking toward the teaching area, she fidgeted with her head lowered. She stole a momentary glance here and there but was overly startled by the students' curious gazes.

They couldn't believe that the young demon would be their professor.

Stuttered, Lolita spoke.

"I---I will be your professor in Magic Class", she introduced.

The chirping of distant birds reverberated, making Lolita stiffen in the spot. She felt the desire to run...

Defeaning silence broke out.

"Show us your skill, please, professor, garchu!", Carrot broke the deafening silence with her suggestion. There was no ill in her tone and Lolita could infer her intentions.

Carrot wanted to cease the disbelief in other students and that could be done by showing her power.

Subsequently, Lolita stammered.

"A--ahh! That's right..."

She gripped her wand and raised it in the air. A cold breeze wafted from the wand that sent a chill into the overlookers. Still, this level was not enough. Some of these students were already proficient in magic. If Lolita aimed to prove her qualifications, she had to unleash S-grade magic at least.

"Storm Hail!"

Alab felt his skin turning cold. He opened his eyes and glanced at Lolita ahead.

'That is S-grade magic?...', Alab could already feel the potency in Lolita's magic despite being on the chanting stage. The tip of her wand grew colder and colder until eventually, a condensation of turbulent hail levitated at the tip of the wand.

A hail as fierce as a storm was condensed inside a transparent marble. It was a mesmerizing sight to behold the ripples created by chaotic hail.

Lolita gracefully reached the condensed hail and caressed it. Adoring its beauty, Lolita muttered.

"What I showed you is C-grade magic. It usually erupts with a storm of hail with limited range the moment you use the magic but in my case, I compressed the hail using another magic to form this marble. This way, I can just throw this to the enemy, and the range is increased.", a peculiar shift occurred in Lolita. When it came to magic, she couldn't help but overtalk.

"Huh?!", the participants couldn't digest the lengthy narrative.

Meanwhile, Alab was piqued by her adeptness in magic. It was C-grade magic yet it exuded a dangerous aura.

'It feels like it can compete with B-grade magic', Alab speculated.

Lifting her head, Lolita was startled as her eyes met the dazzling eyes of the participants. Carrot grinned at the fortunate change in the ambiance.

Having proved her qualifications, no one dared question her anymore. Everyone in the class had little proficiency with magic. Consequently, they perked their ears and listened to Lolita's lengthy narratives about magic.

Alab was equally keen as he hushed the pestering Girth.

Girth didn't grow fond of the lesson as he yawned from time to time. He was not studious.

On the other hand, Felix brimmed with motivation upon observing the keen Alab. His enthusiastic eyes gazed at the joyous Lolita ahead.

Somehow, they were glad that Dennis was the most villainous individual in the room. His level of notoriety was to scoff at...

That way, the class ended with everyone satisfied with their learning. Even Dennis slammed his back to his chair as he heaved a breath.

His mental vigor was drained just from that one lesson.

Lolita waved her goodbye to the students as she then left the room, leaping like a child in the corridor.

"That was fun!", Lolita was exhilarated to converse about magic. Though she thought that she would learn a thing or two from the students yet turned into a teacher-centered teaching approach instead, she was still glad to share her knowledge.

"Soon, maybe I would learn from them soon hehe", Lolita went to her office, beaming with pleasure.

As soon as Lolita left, Alab closed his eyes as he began restoring his mana. They had a little half an hour of a break before the next class.

"Ke?! It already this late?!", Girth shrieked upon seeing the time in his system interface.

A small 4:30 flashed in the upper right corner of his screen. The sun was at its highest when they arrived at this building. They right away immersed in consecutive 2-hour classes with little breaks in between.

Girth even forgot to munch on some food as he didn't notice the time. Rushly, Girth satiated his rumbling stomach with Earth's cuisine from his inventory.

The other students also took their stored foods as the appetizing smell wafted from Girth's food. It was a palate of rice and menudo!

Dismissing his fans that assaulted him with queries, Girth madly wolfed down his food.

*burp*

A wild burp leaked from his mouth as he then leaned on his chair, caressing his bloated stomach.

"KEKE! Earth's food is indeed tasty!", Girth exclaimed.

As he opened his eyes, he noticed that Felix was yet to consume anything. The other students were packing their food already but Felix didn't pull out a food from his inventory.

Girth awakened his nosy trait.

Immediately, he asked.

"Ke, why are you not eating, joker elf?", Girth poked his nose. He took a booger and swiftly sent it flying out the window with a flick...

Felix lowered his head.

"I--I wasn't able to bring any food with me haha", Felix scratched his head.

"KE?! YOU ARE AN IDIOT!", Girth jeered as he smacked his head. He couldn't believe that someone would even forget to bring his food...

Well, it was not like Girth recalled either. If not for Anastasia's nagging to store some food, Girth would be pestering Alab for food by now.

Girth shook his head as he expressed his disappointment.

"KEKE...", Girth sneered.

His fans were peering through, pretending to be busy at something as they did. They were waiting for Girth's next action.

'Ughhhh! Is he going to give him some food---?'

Their illusions broke as they saw Girth yawn and then...

*snore*

He slept!

His fans were aggrieved by his action. But, Girth could care less.

He wasn't the type to do such a thing anyways. Felix somehow could feel that and that was why he didn't feel surprised at all when Girth slept.

'Not that I am expecting to receive food from someone anyways...'

Felix thought. Alab was similar to Girth. His figure retained its composed ambiance as the noise didn't perk him.

Then at this point, Carrot stood from her chair. She went upward and smiling, she uttered.

"Here, you can have this, garchu!", Carrot handed a carrot to Felix.

-----

It was already 5 in the afternoon when they commenced their practical class. The professor didn't enter the class but he sent an S-mail to the class liaison, Girth.

After skimming through the contents, Girth pestered Alab to be the one to deliberate but Alab didn't budge with his words. Felix on the other hand was too shy to even speak a word.

The humiliating episode from earlier still lingered in his mind. Felix somehow developed a phobia of the teaching area...

Girth squeezed his brain on his next action. He might be shameless but during these times, his tail tucked on its own.

'I am not eloquent! Ke!', Girth grew apprehensive.

Looking at the crumbs of carrots on the desk, an idea sparked in his head. Immediately, he stepped through the desk and then toward the stairs until he reached the forefront seat.

Looking at the eloquent and confident Carrot, Girth grinned.

"Keke, you tell this to the class, Ms. Secretary!", Girth proclaimed.

Carrot furrowed her brows but agreed anyways. She wasn't the type to cause a fuss over small things. Shortly, she stood and strode toward the teaching area whilst Girth sprinted back to his seat.

Carrot read the contents of the forwarded email by Girth.

"Our professor in practical class has caught a cold, he won't be able to attend the class today. But he leaves us with a task which is to draw lots to decide our opponent for mock combat next class", Carrot narrated.

With her lead, the class was rather organized. Everything went smoothly from listing names to drawing lots. After a while, their mock opponent has been decided.

Unfolding his rolled piece of paper, with the number 3 on it, Alab skimmed for a student with a similar number, then he discovered his opponent...

Looking at the tall furry girl before him, Alab muttered.

"Carrot"

"Don't be absent tomorrow, okay? Mr. Alab, garchu!", Carrot beamed.
