The Renevant

When he thought that everything was over, when he believed that it was finally the end of everything, it presented himself... Ender Rialto was known as one of the weakest Humanycs, a new race of humans, to ever exist, with the only manipulation of his own eyes, in contrast to all societies that could manipulate elements such as fire and water. He lived his entire life thinking of ways to get stronger, but one day he decided to end it all. It was that day, that an opportunity appeared. A chance to teach the world what his true values were, and how he was here to change the old rotten ones. He would show them all, what he was capable of. -------------------- Taking back this story, school stressed me out but I'm back for more, expect daily releases if I'm able to keep up with it.

The Consciousness

Ender looked at Ren for some seconds. The teenager sighed and made a hand signal while saying, "C'mon kid, fire some questions already or I will kick you from here."

Ender re-adjusted himself while trying to think of anything to ask. After a while, he just decided to go with the simple questions to get everything moving.

"So uhm... what are you?" Ender asked.

Ren raised an eyebrow while chuckling, "Talk about simple questions... I'm neither Human nor Humanyc... nor Kobaryc. I have nothing to do with the Milky Way I'm afraid."

"You are not from this galaxy?"

"Nope... I don't know where I'm from, to be honest." He said while getting comfortable on the chair. Ender widened his eyes when he said that. How can somebody not know where he is from?

He shook his head and said, "How old are you exactly?"

"Dunno, seven million years old, give or take..." He said casually while drinking tea. Ender on the other hand almost spit and threw the cup of tea.

He started coughing violently but quickly stopped while cleaning the spit from his mouth.

He looked at Ren for some seconds and said, "... what the fuck... I'm not buying that." The 'teenager' just chuckled and finished his tea,

"I said a random number I'm probably some thousands of years old or something like that... Anything else you wanna know 'bout me?"

"Well, uhm... a-as I said what are you. From which race you come?" Ren looked at the sky with a pensive stance for a while before answering,

"Sorry but I don't know jack shit about me... I've been living in this desert as far as my memories go... which are not much, to be honest..."

"The desert! Like w-what is this fucking place." Ender said while standing up and wide opening his arms, "Like, I appeared here and I have no fucking idea if this is away from Earth."

"Well, this place is, from now on, your consciousness I believe. If you look closely you will be able to see the barriers. The stronger they are the more powerful you will be against mental attacks.

You will be able to expand this place to be able to control more things with your mind, but for now, this size is great."

"I have telekinesis?!" Ender shouted at Ren while getting close to him. Ren just slapped his face with enough force to send him back to his seat,

"No, you idiot... did you even read your Elements? Only Fear. You will be able to expand your arsenal with time to the point of becoming a god or who knows what. Don't get cocky though..."

Ender caressed his cheek while listening to Ren. He sighed and asked something that was bugging him for a long time already, "How did I even change Elements? I used to have a shitty thing for my eyes but nothing m-"

"Yeah, yeah I know your entire life, Ender. Had an entire day to check it anyways. My Element is far more powerful than yours, so based on basic hierarchy, I won against it and consumed it.

You won't need to worry about it anymore"

Ender stood up again, which made Ren sigh loudly, "What do you mean with Element... are you a Kobaryc?"

Ren squinted his eyes and said, "I already said... I don't fucking know."

Ender shivered from Ren's look and quickly sat with his head looking down. Those two red eyes glowed and Ender felt as tiny and defenseless as an ant.

He made the mental note to not fuck with Ren least he regrets it.

The moment he thought that Ren started laughing, "Don't see me as a maniac though! It's just that I'm really confused about my identity... I feel like I was living here forever, so don't mind my random anger bursts."

"Can you read my mind?" Ender said almost mumbling.

"Yep, so I pretty much know all 'bout you the same way you know all 'bout yourself. Don't try hiding things about me kid."

He nodded and continued with a different topic, "The System, are you the one controlling it?"

Ender's eyes glowed in expectation of confirmation, and glowed, even more, when he saw Ren smiling, "Nope, I'm not."

Only to be destroyed the second after, "But if I were to bet..." He pointed at the grey star, "I would bet for that."

Ender looked up towards the sun, and started laughing slowly, "You know how to pull a good joke don't you?"

He looked down and saw Ren with his finger still pointing at the sun with a poker face, which made his expression change as well, "Gotta be kidding me..."

"Listen, I don't even know how I got inside of here. What I know, is that you have my element and that star shines brighter every time you use the System."

"Not only you aren't the System... but you know shit about it?" Ender said while holding his chin.

"Touché... I can see what you are seeing as if I were watching a movie, but I can't interact with anything. Whatever I say you'll be able to hear it though."

Ender nodded while trying to get hold of all the information. He found it to be easier than usual and just thought it was the Intelligence stat doing. Which sparked his eyes a little bit,

"The stats from the System! I know it may sound stupid but how exactly it works? I just get strength out of nowhere or what is it all about."

"Well... you can't see or sense it right now, but that star has a massive amount of energy accumulated.

So fucking much I don't even know how you are even alive, it's stronger than those of a nebula going supernova. So I wonder if it's giving you its power slowly through game-like quests."

"Somewhat makes sense... shit's going too fast." Ender said while clutching his head.

Ren just nodded while stretching his arms, "Anything else?"

"If you are the Fear manipulator or whatever shit you meant, how come the System is giving me your Element?" Ender said taking another tea sip.

"I'm not the only Fear user you know... I think. About what you said, I honestly don't even know how I got into contact with the System. Talk less about it suddenly giving my Element to you... good thing I don't lose them." Ren said while making claws appear.

"Are the claws the only thing you have?" Ender said slowly.

Ren just looked at him and burst into laughter, "Oh my fucking god, hahaha. If those toys were the only thing I wouldn't have lived for so long don't you think so? Hahaha."

Ren started dying from laughing while banging his hand on the table. Ender on the other hand got as red as a tomato while nervously chuckling. Ren slowly stopped while cleaning the tears from his eyes.

"I guess that you will get more with time. It doesn't matter having one or a thousand. Good usage is what truly matters. If you took the time to master the claws, I bet you'll be unstoppable."

Ender nodded while taking a deep breath, "I guess that's all... don't have anything more to ask." He said while getting up. Ren did as well while vanishing the table and dusting off his trousers.

"One more thing Ender... Noticed you didn't have good hand-to-hand combat so in case you wanna practice I'm available. That way you'll make good use of your sleep hours."

Ender just looked at Ren in confusion, "What do you mean? I'm gonna lose the little sleep I get?"

"Of course not, while your physical body rests the mind works. After all, everything comes down to muscle memory. It can't be all nights because of burnouts and such, but maybe four times a week or so."

"Sounds like you wanna partner up with me. Didn't expect you to be the wanna work together type. You feel more individualist than most people I know."

"I'm going with the usual; you die, I die. Better to teach you some survival skills. For example, while beating Derreck up, did you know how you did it?"

"Well I-I just saw him there and... uh... I went to punch him to try... to... uhhh..."

Ender tried to argue but quickly closed his mouth, sighed, and said, "Everything happened like it was natural."

"Because you did it without thinking. It wasn't natural, it was luck. Consider yourself blessed, Derreck knew jack shit about fighting 'cause if he were me, I'd have killed you before you even dashed.

Bloodthirst can be sensed as well, you need to control that... as well as hate. You were drowning in that..."

He said while waving his hand downwards.

Suddenly, immense pressure formed from behind Ender. He looked back to see a massive rift that was sending out arcs of purple lightning.

"What's that?" He subconsciously took a step back.

"That's your way out. Since you can't control getting inside your consciousness by yourself and only by sleeping, I will be kicking you out until you master it. You'll probably have a massive headache though." Ren said while walking towards Ender until he was beside him.

Ender looked at him and Ren smiled back. He touched his hair and said, "I like that hair of yours." He then put his hand on his back and pushed Ender towards the rift.

He quickly looked back to see Ren with a mischievous smirk. Then everything went black and he heard, "We'll talk soon."
