Chapter 25

Cynthia and Bill sat there in silence, lost in their own thoughts. Bill remembered how comfortable and how right it all felt waking up next to her. When they slept next to to each other at the motel, at Michael's wedding, he has the same feeling when he woke that morning. Technically at the present she owned half of his billion, but that did not seem to bother him, a whole billion was too much for just one person, and she would always spend and invest it wisely. A picture popped into his head. He could see her on the PTA. He would have to go on line latter to see it for himself, but he can picture her shoving Samantha out of the way, she would not let her have him. He may be trying to be a complete asshole, but he could never be any sort of an asshole to her. And to cap it all off, he finds her quite cute.
