Raven VS Brown

" My name is Brown and you are not worthy of me telling you my background ! " Brown replied in a haughty tone while Raven looked at him with a blank face ..

' Who is this idiot ? I never even asked him his background .. '

Brown frowned because he felt uncomfortable with the look that Raven was giving him .

" Hey , why are you giving me blank look ? !"

" Tch.. Well I thought that your brain is damaged because I never asked your background and you spoke in such an arrogant manner anyway ! "

Hearing Raven's insulting words , Brown immediately became angry because he had never met such a situation before. Everyone would respect him wherever he goes and Raven was the first one to openly insult him .

" What are you looking at ? Just go already! Someone as dumb like you cannot possibly come here to cause trouble anyway .. "

Raven exclaimed out loud and tried to shoo Brown away .

" Looks like I have to teach you your place ! " Brown disregarded Raven's words and started riling up his core energy .

His body was enveloped in a violet Flame aura which surprised Raven because he had never seen such a dense Flame before but he had some knowledge about its origins .

" Essence Flame !! "

Raven could not help but shout because such flames were last seen in the Sulfur Continent more than seven centuries ago . The Essence Flames were natural flames who had lived for more than one million years and gained conscious over time.

These Flames were too deadly and had unique properties to them . All the Alchemists and Artifact Refiners were crazy about these Flames because if they can absorb them then they can refine higher rank items with small effort . Not only refining but these Flames were also very deadly during battles .

Raven was speechless because a random youth he encountered after exiting cultivation session for a small break , actually had fused with such a heavenly treasure .

Raven immediately had some thoughts of killing Brown and plundering the Essence Flame seed but immediately discarded them because such a person will naturally have a very powerful background.

Its was easy to guess so because Brown could not possibly defeat the Essence Flame with his meager strength and fuse with it . He could only have gotten the Essence Flame from an expert who shared some with him . Such Experts could be numbered on hands. So Raven immediately thought about Central Continent because such experts can only be found there .

Raven wanted to settle the matter peacefully after guessing Brown's background because it was not worth it to offend them for such a small matter. Brown was arrogant? So what ? He had the qualifications simply because he had a powerful backing behind him .

In this world the strong ruled over the weak and one can get away with anything if he is powerful enough . Raven could not believe that he made such a bad mistake of offending such a character but it was not his fault either because he would have never thought that someone from Central Continent will casually show up here .

' Holy shit ! This brat is truly overbearing ! I have no choice but to defend myself otherwise with such a deadly Flame, I will become toast in seconds .. '

Raven shook his head and decided to only defend and not attack hoping for someone to come quickly and resolve this situation.

A huge Violet Flame snake was heading towards Raven at fast speed but Raven had tons of battle experience so he was not afraid.

He used his Divine Sense at full power and started looking for a weak point . He had no choice because even though Raven's flames are much pure than others but he cannot compare with Essence Flanes at all .

' Fuu.. it's good that Brown cannot control his flames much efficiently otherwise I would have to face much trouble! '

" Hahaha.. see the might of my Violet Ghost Flames ! ' Brown shouted happily when he saw Raven being enveloped by the Flame snake but the next second his jaw dropped because Raven actually came out unscathed and his Flame Snake completely dissipated into thin air .

" Brown , your flames are really hot ! but only this much cannot hope to put even a scratch on me .. " Raven spoke in a neutral tone which angered Brown more because to him it felt like Raven was insulting the Essence Flame seed he got from his father .

" You were just lucky before but this time I will use my full power.. "

Raven was getting annoyed with such a childish behavior of Brown because if someone else had faced such an attack then they would have burnt into ash . Still Raven did not lash it out because that would only serve as exaggerating the situation more as Brown was too proud to understand such simple truths .

" Violet twin dragons ! " Brown shouted and from his two hands two majestic Violet Flame Dragons shot out and headed towards Raven with a loud roar .

Raven was not scared because he had already seen through the fact that Brown cannot completely control his Essence Flame. Raven just needed to fully use his Divine Sense and search for the weak spots in the attack where the Flames are not stable enough .

Raven was very impressed with the twin dragons though because it was definitely at least an Earth rank battle skill . Raven had practiced many skills but none were at this level except the Heavenly Flame Finger .

The two dragons crossed the distance of more than fifty meters in just two seconds and enveloped Raven's body .

From Brown's view it looked like Raven would be dead in next few seconds but it was not such a case at all. Raven's body was currently enveloped in a thin Flame energy barrier but it was dense enough to block the Violet Flames for a few seconds . That much time was enough for Raven to break the dragons by piercing through the weak spots where the Flames are not stable enough .

Raven took less than a second to find more than seven such weak spots . He immediately conjured a thin dark red sword from his own Flame Energy and pierced through those seven spots skillfully in a mere second using Hundred Flame Cleave skill .

Soon the dragons were once again dissipated and Raven came out unscathed. But this time Raven's expression was not that good because even though his body did not suffer any damage but the high temperature of the Violet Flames was too much too bear solely with Raven's own flames .

" Phew .. " Raven wiped the sweat of his forehead and took a deep breath. He looked up into the air and smiled mysteriously which confused Brown ..

" Hahaha.. Brad see that youngster ! He is Raven I told you about .. " Blaze's loud voice came from the sky and one could easily tell that he was currently feeling happy ..

" To think that brat has so much control and battle experience at such a young age ! Blaze, why didn't you send him to the Central Continent before ? He can join the top sects there easily with his skills ... " Brad on the other hand sounded clearly astonished .

Blaze did not reply and landed on the ground with a heavy thud besides Raven .

" Haha.. Welll done Raven ! " He happily patted Raven's shoulder but Raven himself was feeling bad .

" Old man , you should have stopped that young man called Brown before ! To think that he has such a good Essence Flame but such a lousy temperament. If it was someone else taking those attacks then they would have long since become a pile of ash .. " Raven could finally relax so he immediately started scolding the two old men openly without any care for respect ..
