Locked by the enemy

Raven walked for two days after leaving the Iron Desert towards the North .

There were many nearby battlefields but they were small scale and most importantly Raven was afraid that the Corpse Forces would target him because of him foiling their plans by disabling the Yin Dome Formation .

He was heading towards the Protector Hills . The Hills were five in number and existed in a single line. In the ancient era , the hills were a place where a huge battle took place with Demon Race . So the people named these hills as Protector Hills to honour the humans who died back then in battle .

Raven crossed the huge forest area slowly because he was being cautious and checked frequently if he was being followed or not . He had not told his next destination to anybody because he feared that the enemies may also know about it then .

The journey was not bad because Raven drank some wine and admired the nature on the way but suddenly a calamity fell upon him. He still could not see the Protector Hills and was locked by the enemies .

' tch.. Those bastards ! ' Raven cursed inwardly because he had walked into an illusion Formation unknowingly. He had been walking for few hours and even used BLINK many times but was just moving in circles.

The range of the Formation was even larger than the full range of Raven's Divine Sense so he was feeling helpless currently. The scenery depicted a dense forest but Raven knew that it was an illusion because he had seen the same tress and herbs more than thirty damned times already!

" Kekeke.. Raven Flame , the youth savior of army ! Keke.. why are you in such a pathetic state right now ? Kekeke... "

Suddenly creepy sound echoed everywhere and even covering his ears did not help Raven. Raven was feeling scared now because he had no idea about the details of such an Illusion Formation much less a way of escape from it . There was also some kind of force which was attacking his will power , gradually weakening it . Raven was still calm enough to notice these details but he feared that his will power wont last a few more hours at this rate and then he would be helpless against the unknown enemy.

Raven had deduced that the enemy must be alone and must have low battle power because he was using such vicious methods to gradually but surely weaken Raven . If there were more enemies then Raven was sure that they would have attacked him by now. But the current situation was more dangerous because if there were enemies attacking , then Raven could at least hope to defeat them but right now he can't even find the exact location of the enemy !

" Who are you ? Why target me ? " Raven could not help but shout because on one hand he wanted information and on another hand his willpower was so weak right now that he could not even think that the enenemy had no reason to answer him .

" Ahhhhhhhhh... " Raven held his head with both hands and yelled in pain while rolling on the ground . Now the enemy even resorted to mind attacks!

The silent and invisible attacks continued for more than ten minutes before stopping but Raven's state was reduced to completely pathetic in the short time . His hair were ripped off by himself and was twitching on the ground like a nearly dead fish .

" Oh ? I thought that you would die already but it looks like your mind is stronger by many times compared to others who have same cultivation as you .. Kekeke.. No problem! Now I can torture you for another time but you will have to wait for a few hours for that Keke.. "

The enemy's confident and creepy words rang inside Raven's tired mind endlessly but Raven could not even move his lips due to extreme exhaustion right now . His current state was like a normal human who had not eaten or drank water for more than one week and was locked in a close environment the whole time. Well being a cultivator Raven's torment could not compare to that level of suffering though because his mind was on the verge of breaking already..

But in this situation when he cant even change his expression, Raven was laughing inside his now extremely weak mind . He had finally figured out the identity of the enemy . If that bastard did not use soul attacks, Raven would have died in ignorance but now that he knew , Raven had sure way to escape this situation and he could even kill that bastard if everything went according to plan .

So Raven laid on the ground in the same pathetic situation but had started making a plan inside his mind already. His mind may be weak and his thought process was slow but right now the enemy was not disturbing him so Raven could take his time and have a talk with system inside his mind .
