Keiran is pacing up and down the porch, feeling a sharp pain inside his chest. He is restless, like something really bad just happened. And the truth is, something has really happened.

The string of fate is being pulled far away from him, trying to hammer the bond. But the agony it causes is too great to ignore. And so, he knows he can’t be a bystander.

She is arms and legs bound, unable to move or say anything as she is also muzzled. She is having trouble breathing, but truly this is the least of her problems. Both of her guards are dead and she wished she heard Keiran, taking more precautions.

But her departure was supposed to be kept a secret, the carriage was a simple one so no one would understand that the Empress is travelling. But the men that captured her knew well enough who she was. They were aiming for her.
