Stace and Keda were enjoying their new found life away from the pack. They hadn't thought about them for a long time. They had three pups of their own. However, there was always something on Stace's mind. She realised that she hadn't seen Jay up in the sky for quite a while.

Usually she could sense when Jay was flying overhead, but she hadn't been able to. She was worried something had happened. What she had said to Jay before, she didn't want it to be the last thing she ever said to him. She wanted to apologise.
