Chapter Fifty-Six: Reckless Thought
Seraphina's POV
Hardin. Curse them!
I had never been so infuriated at one entity in my life. I needed to find a way to meet whoever was calling these shots!
Crazy plans came and left in my head, and I grew angrier at every traffic jam that slowed us down. I needed to get home to cool off.
Realistically speaking, I should expect my father's body to be disrespected before we save it. If it was already at the Eastern Pack, it was possible they'd be the ones extracting what they needed and sending Hardin the important things.
What I should focus on was making them pay! But if I knew how to do that a long time ago, I wouldn't have been hiding at the Lennons.
"Stop thinking about it," Percy said to me.
He might want to leave the thinking to himself, but I had a brain and could worry too. "I'm fine," I said flatly.
