"WHY HAVEN'T YOU COME TO MY CASTLE!!!" screamed an angry veldia?

'why is he back here didn't we stop blowing up the castle' I thought confused.

"Hey we stopped that so why are you here" Kazuma said

"You haven't stopped exploding my castle!!!" Veldia said

I looked at megumin with eyes that said "really"

"care to explain" I said with a neutral voice

"I did start explode the plains, but after knowing the satusfication of exploding a castle I couldn't resist and

I chopped megumins head lightly as a punishment while kazuma looked like he wanted more.

"But who did you go with" I asked in a gental voice

megumin jusy looked at aqua while she looked away, kazuma gave her a punishment by squeezing her cheeks.

"ow,ow,ow why are you doing this megumin only got a light chop on her head!!" Aqua screamed in question

"Because I am a advocate of gender equality" Kazuma screamed back

'No I don't mind hurting a female I can't truly hurt megumin' I thought glancing at megumin before looking back at veldia

"Enough fooling around I'm so angry I feel like destroying all the inhabitants in this town" Veldia said but aqua replied with a "turn undead" spell that seemed to be affective judging by veldia's horse disappearing and him rolling on the ground in pain while screaming.

"Kazuma I don't think that was affective" aqua said but kazuma said it seemed affective from veldia's "GHA" as a reaction.

after a few seconds velida got back up

"Are you really a beginner I thought only beginners were here, well no matter after all I don't have to fight you" said Veldia summoning around 20-30 of what looked to be undead knights around him and at his command.

"Undead knights, show them a glimps of what hell lookes like" ordered veldia

"AH! I bet hes freaking out from how strong your magic was, extending his expectaions" Kazuma analyzed

"T-thats wrong, why should a boss be the one to fight you first, you must deal with the small fry first" veldia said to his defence

"Sacred Turn Undead!" Aqua said quickly casted after his sentence.

'These spells of hers are very effective to the night, but how long are they going to play this game' I thought seeing this as nothing more then a game

Aqua went to kazuma for advise in what to do since shes not the sharpest she thinks her magic isn't affecting him at all.

Kazuma is smart and knows her attacks are affective then she thinks they are

"Enough!!!, Slughter everyone in this city" veldia ordered

everyone was freaking out and ordering someone to featch a priest. Unfortunately or fortunately the swarm of undead started chasing aqua instead of invading the city.

"hmm, megumin cant you nail the swarm over there." I suggested

"Ehh but there all scattered like that so I can't really hit them all" Megumin said I nodded in understanding

"Kazuma! Kazuma!" yelled Aqua bringing all the undead back to the front gate or wrather kazuma

'I would be happy to help but my magic isn't affective to undead and slicing them will give

KamaKama a stoumach ach, and the other reason is that I don't know how to perfectly control my magic so its dangerous to use if not under complete focus, I have a long way to go.' I contemplated while megumin casted explosion on the undead lead by kazuma and aqua back to veldia.

walking over to megumin who was standing longer thanks to her training I was able to catch her and sit her down.

"Thanks" megumin said

"rest and gather your strength I will be back" I said allowing her to just sit there and nod, I stood back up and walked to veldia who was still alive

'Just cuz the others have been training doesn't mean I haven't either' I thoughtslowly drawing my scythe which made me look like the grim reaper

'heh, normally I would have never cared about the lives of others just as they never cared for me in my past like.....who knew I would meet you' looking back and meeting megumins eyes with my own causing me to blush under my mask

"the only one who cared to talk to me" I wispered but no one heard

looking back to veldia I was ready for him no matter what.

"you challenge me are you not scared form last time" vedlia said

"I haven't feared death in a very, very long time" I said quietly and calmly like I was looking back in the past

"this city has very interesting people and once I get pasted you I will deal with the exploding girl" He said looking past me to megumin who was laying down on the ground.

"Gah"

"You left your defences down....what a fool" I said eith my leg up signifying that I kicked him in the time he glanced at megumin

all I need to do is by some time till kazuma gets some plan to vanquish this guy. I thought rushing to veldia who had gotten up clashing and deflecting his blade was easy but doing any significant damage will be the most challenging.

My stats are to low to deal with him I'm nimble and fast and strong but he has experience in this and is on a higher level all I can do is draw this out.

clash after clash and kazuma couldn't find a weakness after. Out of fustration Kazuma casted his spell after spell and did all he could then when he casted his water spell he dodged all of the spells kazuma casted veldia stood still and took it as a show of superiority. Kazuma seemed to have gotten this and had Aqua the goddess of water, cast a water spell on veldia.

The result was a very large blue magic circle above veldia.

Darkness was behind veldia and held him in place and looked exitwd to be in the way of the blast.

I on the other hand seeing that darkness went to megumin on the tree and planted the handle of kama-kama into the ground protecting onlt me and megumin others tried to get tinto the purple bubble me and megumin were in but the wave was already hear and washed the all away.

after a few seconds the resulte was a destroyed wall that was behind us the surroundings drenched in water and the only dry things were meand megumin, aqua aswll since she casted it.

of course vldia was affected but not out as he still had some fight, so kazuma stole his head and played soccer from our old world with the other adventures.

Aqua casted sacred turn undead finishing veldia.

'What worries me is what will happen if the people who sent him send someone to check what happened here, no matter how much I hate it veldia was a honorable man with a knights code but others will kill others in their sleep, hmm' I thought thinking of what I should d

"Hey what are you thinking" megumin asked

"Just about stuff, now lets go inside get you home to rest" I answered her question putting my previous thoughts in the back of my head.

(The next day)

Me and megumin are sitting here while she complains about darkness not letting her drink alcohol I don't drink so I just comfort her in her dilemma.

Kazuma joins us as a slightly drunk aqua is blabbering about something about him being late.

Luna walked towards with a card in her hand.

"Kazuma, I've been waiting for you. I have a reward for you and your party for taking down the dullahan"

"Us, only us? why" kazuma asked confused

apparently they praised our efforts in the fight.

"Yes well your reward for the defeating veldia is......300million!!" luna announced

"300 million!!!!!" we said

I will admit even I am suprised of how much we have.

"Group meeting" kazuma said

"we won thanks to my skill so we should go 90/10. Now that we have great wealth I'm going to live a safe leisurely life" Kazuma said, the others were complaining but I stayed silent

'I forgot Kazuma is still human and one from our old world, while I'm still trying to piece myself together he is trying to cower and hide while the world solves itself, but I can't blame him he still wants to live and be safe and out of harms way of anything it's only natural' I summarized

"W-wait kazuma you should look at this" Luna said handing the card that was in her hand

kazuma paled as he read it, aqua tried to sneak away but kazuma grabed her hair

"The damage to the outer wall was significant damaged from aquas spell, but since you slayed veldia you don't have to pay in full."

And thats how the day ended a sad kazuma and in debt, but hey what else do you expect in this world.
