Chapter One Hundred Fifteen: The Parted Family

There was no way that she could approve of what had transpired and yet, there she stood, with the King and Queen, expecting them to make something right that assumed could only be done in time. Lysette was angry, but this was not about her. This was about the small girl that had been left behind and abandoned because of choices that were made by her parents. She was the proper heir to the throne. However, if she were to take the throne, it could pose complications.

Gabriel already had a suitor which means that he would have a rightful place on the throne where I was his sister, Ally was older, she was also very much isolated and had missed out on the Choosing ceremony.

" So what do you plan to do with her?" Lysette questioned as she looked on at her King and Queen who held the girl tightly in their arms. " Well, She is the rightful heir to the throne which means that Gabriel will have to wait. Even though he has a mate chosen for him, this is truly her place" The King answered while the Queen remained completely silent.

" So just like that you're going to forget everything that you've done and you are going to allow her to sit on the throne? " Lysette questioned much to the frustration of the King.

" Well, What do you want us to do? You brought her back here! She has a right to the throne and she shall take the throne when it is her time. Gabriel does not have a claim to it now" The King wasn't sure if this was even the right decision but he knew this was the way that things had to be for the time.

" Though she needs to be trained. She needs to learn proper etiquette and she also needs proper training on her Lycan Form. Since you both bare the mark, I think it should be you who trains her Lysette. At least on how to proper master her strength" The King suggested.

The mark, Was something that she did having common with the child. And it was true that this child more than likely possessed a great strength far behind Gabriel. She would need patience and proper training that only her Aunt could provide so Lysette agreed.

" You guys will handle the other kit and I will handle the training. You will also need to inform the people and test the waters among the nobles to see how they will handle this new information" Lysette pointed and everyone agreed. The training would begin soon after Ally had some time to acclimate herself back to her home.

" I know that you think very ill of us. But we tried to make the best decision that we could at the time. And that mark, whether you bare it or not, does not change that she could be a threat" The Queen said firmly to Lysette.

" Just because it turned out one way for you does not mean it will turn out the same for her" The Queen added.

" You know that this is just superstition. The mark was something that everyone feared because they did not understand it. I turned out completely fine and I shall assure you that she will not cause any trouble whatsoever within the kingdom. I will be her personal protector if I have to. But I will also carry out all of my duties as protecting the kingdom" Lysette Did not really care for the way that the Queen spoke to her and yet the words escaped nonetheless.

" I am telling you this because I don't want you to make a costly mistake based on sentiments. She is my child, I bore her. And I love her. But that does not mean that will allow her to cause destruction and chaos. Just as I would have never let you do if you had tried" this came as a threat to Lysette which she simply would not stand for.

" You think you could have stopped me if I tried? You were gifted that's for sure, But we both know that I was always a better fighter. Not to mention far more versed in several forms of technique and magic" Lysette fired back.

" You are one of the few Lycans to ever use magic, and that stood you apart from us. But I have loved you as always. And just because I am not as skilled as you, I am nevertheless a threat, and you would do well now as you would have then, to not underestimate me" The Queen and Lysettes eyes were locked into a death stare.

The Queen was doing all that she could for her kingdom and she did not appreciate her sister attacking her in the way that she was. She made decisions that she thought was right it would not be criticized for them.

" And you would do well to not react so harshly or so quickly at the 1st sign of something different. You could try to play this off as though you were doing what was best for the kingdom but you were only doing what was best for yourself" and with that, Lysette stormed out of the room, angered deeply by her sisters words and not wishing to stay any longer for fear that she might cause great harm to her family.

" Why did you two have to fight? " The king asked his Queen with an enormous amount of concern in his tone. He had witnessed the sisters fight several times but now is not the time to be fighting. Is now is the time for Unification.

" I am just making sure that she is aware that I am not a push over and that I am not going to allow her to speak to me in the way that she has. She can believe whatever she wants to believe but just because she believes something does not make it so. She does not understand the Strife that we have been through nor does she understand how much we had to go through to part with Ally. And I will be damned if I'm gonna let her speak to me the way she has without understanding the full picture" The Queen ranted.

" You know that she's going to believe whatever she wants. And you also know that YouTube have always seen things differently since you were little. Don't let her get to you unless just focus on our daughter for the time being. We have much to do in very little time to get it done. I suggest we let Gabriel and Ally meet, so they can get each other's scent. They need to stand strong together. To keep this Kingdom together" The King sighed.
