The odd light that seemingly came from nowhere wasn't as strong in the empty section of the coliseum. It was actually somewhat difficult to see ahead, and that made Seth much more nervous that he should have been.
He and Ingrid had split up to cover more ground in less time about ten minutes ago, despite his objections to this plan. Of course, the fierce woman hadn't listened to him, so here he was, checking each room in this long, narrow, dark hallway.
He moved to the next door and carefully opened it and peeked inside. Each room was identical to the last. Four beds, wardrobes, a table and four wooden chairs. They were just spacious enough without being overly large. A thick layer of dust covered everything inside. It was painfully clear that none of the cleaning crew ever came here.
