Another Story

"You're going down!" screamed by Riku

"Nah! I don't think so!" replied by Aoi

They're having 500 returns of the ball in the court, they are practicing, and classes were dismissed.

"Riku-nee! Aoi-fukubuchou!" Risa called but the two won't stop with the returns

"What? Risa? We're on the 495th return! Yahhh!!!" Riku screamed

"I have some news for all of you guys!"

"Just scream it Risa!" Aoi hits the 496th return

"Hmp!" Risa pouts and is turning red, there's no stopping the two, Riku returns the 497th

"You two won't stop , right?" Aoi hits the 498th

"This is it, you're mine 499th!" Riku said aggressively

"Go hit it Riku!" Aoi cheered when…

TOK!!! Another ball hits it…

Riku and Aoi look where the ball came from. They were all surprised as to what they had seen.

"Aoi-fukubuchou, Riku-senpai, we have an important thing to tell you…" it was Sunako who looks very serious

"What are you guys about to tell us? Tss.. We didn't reach our 500 returns…" said Aoi who looks so frustrated after all their hard works during the play

"Look at this" Nanami shows a paper with different fancy designs and a lot of letters and announcements, so the two seniors look at the paper.

"What's with the design?" Riku

"It has so many announcement and letters are overlapping already" Aoi

"Read the center announcement Onee-chan!" Risa said

"HYOTEI TENNIS FESTIVAL" (refer to POT Special Mini Movie Atobe's Gift, I forgot what is the real name of the gathering, gomenasai!)

"So what's with this? I don't get it" Aoi

"You stopped our momentum in our returns just for this?" Riku

"The reason is…" Nanako Speaks

"WHY WE ARE NOT INVITED!!??" the three said in chorus

"It is for the male tennis club competition only, but you guys can participate in the booths" said Megumi who just came in the court

"Megu! Where's Yuuki? I haven't seen a heart for a week?" Aoi said she's been looking for her buchou

"Do you know what this funny festival Atobe is planning for Megu?" Riku asked

"I just heard it from the male club, since Ryuzaki-sensei is having a meeting with them they are all going to Osaka too! They are going to have a practice match with Shitenhouji, and that's unfair!" Megu said

"Where is Yamada right now, she must be here so we can perform some actions, we just can't let the boys left us behind" said Riku

"Hey, what's the commotion here?" it was Ryuzaki-sensei and she's with Tezuka

"Sensei!" the girls called out and the regulars started to line up as well as the other member

"I knew that you girls heard the news about the practice match of the male club and Shitenhouji" –Ryuzaki sensei

"Hai, sensei.."

"So in part of this, I would like to say sorry that the school principal allowed the male club only…" Ryuzaki sensei said in sympathy

"Eeh.. Sensei really did emphasize that to us…" it was Nanami who is really disappointed about the news

"Yeah, I wish we could have our own training too.." Sunako whispered back to her

"What are you two murmuring there!?" It was Ryuzaki sensei that heard what the two is talking about, the two panics and shook their heads.

"Nothing sensei!" the two answered in chorus

"I see… well I have an announcement to everyone, Tezuka." Ryuzaki sensei said, and then Tezuka comes forward and hands a folder to her

"Since the summer vacation is near, the schools from different districts are sending invitations for practice matches and training."

"In line with this, together with Ryuzaki sensei and Yuuki, accepted the invitation from Rikkaidai to have a practice match with their female team"

"Yey!" the girls scream in chorus

"But!" Yuuki who just came in the court cuts their cheers

"There will be a twist in the practice match…" snow she looks like the Chesire cat from Alice in wonderland

"A twist?" Riku asked, she looks so amused on Yuuki's looks

"Yeah…" Yuuki replied

"What could it be?" It was Aoi though she is the Vice Captain of the club doesn't even had a hint

"You girls really wanna know?" She asked assuring her subordinates really wants to know the twist she is talking about

Tezuka fixes his specs,

Ryuzaki – sensei sighed,

Aoi looks so blank,

Riku crosses her eyebrows,

Nanako and Risa turn their heads left and right,

Sunako gulps…

Megumi who is usually the short tempered one has nothing to say

"A-ano… What is the twist of Yuuki-buchou?" Sakuno broke the silence and all the attention is on her,

Yuuki smiled so sweetly on her, and imitates Fuji's torture smile that gives more tension on the crowd

"Only those who will win the matches will be included in the upcoming Summer Beach Party of the Seigaku team next month." And she shows a draft of the Party Teaser and all widened their eyes in surprise

"A beach Party!?"

"With the whole team?"

"That mean the male club is also in?"

"Wow! It'll be the first time!" the girls cheer to the big news that Yuuki said

"Not only will the regular members have the chance since it is a practice match the other team members will be able to participate also" said Ryuzaki sensei

The whole female club rejoiced and starts to practice for the event

"Alright I am all fired up! Let's do this!" a sophomore girl who has the same spirit as Taka-san yelled

"This is for the beach Party, for the practice match and for me to be with Fuji – sama this summer!" said the girl with golden brown hair

"Everyone is all fired up and starts to warm up for the practice much, I must give my best! It'll be my chance to be with Ryoma-kun!" said Sakuno the Tomoka who happens to be watching the Female team

"EEH! Sakuno, Ryoma-sama is in America, he will not be able to join the practice match" she said to her best friend

"Aww… I forgot..." and she sighed "No! Even without Ryoma-kun I will give my best so that I can improve my tennis skills!" she said to the other girl

"Well, that's the spirit of Sakuno!" Tomoka cheered her up as she practice her swings

The three left the girls on the court.

"So then, I'll be going back to the Faculty room. I still have to prepare the travel waiver for the teams. See you tomorrow Yuuki and Tezuka." Ryuzaki sensei waved her hand

"Hai, sensei. Arigatou" the two bowed their heads, and headed to the exit of the school.

"Thanks to my bright mind that I have thought of this to encourage them to participate" Yuuki praises herself

"What kind of idea do you have?" Tezuka asked

"It'll be a half year from now…" she said in a low tone

"Hn?" he look at her, suddenly she became so serious and it is unusual to her to be like that

"half year have passed and the team means a lot to me now…" she paused and stop to look at the dawn

"You guys are the reason why I moved on and lived my life again, the reasons why I play tennis again… why I am whole right now…" a glistening of tears can be seen on her eyes

"and the graduation will be coming really soon. I just want to have their self esteem stay on them… just like in the male team, it is sure that they will be really worried since most of the regular members are in their senior year right now…"

"Yeah, now that you mention it.. the only regulars that will be left are Echizen, Momoshiro and Kaidoh."

"I knew that they are dependent with you, they have development a strong bond with you guys, and it will be hard for them to move on their own. Just like the female team, Tatsuki-new left them and then I came into the team… Megu, Aoi, Riku and I will soon go to Highschool too…"

"I see your point now…" he agreed

"You're gonna make them realize something they will never forget before the school year ends…"

"Hn.." he nods and they continue to walk on their way home…
